Spells History And Destiny

Sorry for the wait people, just a lot of stuff going on. But I'm updating now and its almost Christmas break so I'll probably update again. But as always, enjoy.

Bella's pov

Rage. Its all I can see. A dangerous bottomless rage that's blinding me from anything rational. I've lost all control of who I am. I'm no longer Isabella Swan, but a monster out to kill. I can feel the bloodlust oozing off of me. All I can see is Edward with a devious and infuriating crooked smile on his face. I leap and charge at him continuously, clawing at him whenever he is in reach but somehow he escapes out of my grasp. I can hear him running from several different places, teasing and taunting me. He's calling out my name; mocking me. I roar out in blinding rag, attacking anything moving. But, something is tingling in the back of my mind. I can hear my name being called, but I cant respond. I'm too far gone. I'm starting to feel heavy, my vision is dimming and my legs feel like stone and I cant move. I feel myself fall to the forest floor and I can faintly see destroyed trees all around me on the ground. I blink once and I hear a sweet voice calling my name. I lifted my head searching for the sound to see Alice looking at be in absolute fear. A low whine escaped from my chest as I saw her expression. I scared my mate..I attacked my mate...she's afraid of..I'm a monster.. I feel myself into an empty darkness, a vision of a terrified Alice is the last thing I see before I fall completely into the darkness.

Alice's pov

I cursed loudly as I dodged another tree flying towards me. "ALICE" I heard Rose cry out. I snapped my head in her direction to see the horrified faces of my family staring at the now clearing in front them as Bell, my sweet enraged Bella tore it apart. "DONT MOVE" I screamed as Emmett stopped too close to me and Bella came charging towards us knocking Emmett several hundred feet backwards taking down more trees with him. I jumped out of the way as Rose ran frantically after him. "Alice what in the world is happening!!" Esme yelled moving behind me."she's lost control! She thinks that Edward is here!" Before she could respond the other shifters came crashing through the bush jumping around the fallen trees slowly circling her. I noticed that only two of them shifted into their tiger forms as the male, Maliki, started to chant in a language I've never heard while moving around her attacks. And slowly her fur started to drain back into her natural beautiful white and her movements start to become sluggish and slow. "Alice call out her name." Maliki ordered. "Bella, Bella sweetie it's Alice" I cooed softly, hesitantly moving towards her. She shook her head repeatedly trying to shake off the stupor that she was in only to collapse on her side. I ran and kneeled down in front of her enormous head and laid my hand on her furry cheek. "Bella.." I whispered in a torn voice. I couldn't take seeing her like this. But I knew it was a good thing that Maliki sedated her, or so it seems that he did. Her eyes were clouded over, as if a piece of wax paper had been placed there. Bella let out a sorrowful whine that made my eyes glaze over in venom. I watched as her eyes slowly closed and her breathing deepen and even out.

"Can someone please explain what the hell happened!" Emmett bellowed. "OUCH!" he yelped as I heard a Rosalie slap him behind the head. But I could hardly pay attention to them, that look..that whine..I kept hearing it, seeing it flash through my mind. "Alice sweetie, are you okay?" I jumped as I felt a soft hand rest on my shoulder. "Alice?" I turned to who I realize was my mother. I blinked a few times shaking my head standing up allowing her to me into her embrace. "Alice what happened here?" she spoke spoke again. I trembled slightly remembering the look of pure rage and bloodlust in her eyes. "She thought Edward was here" I barely whispered but I knew they heard me clearly. I heard a lot of grave sighs, no doubt they have all been filled in by Edward's lies about Bella. "He's at home, he went unconscious early this morning. Carlisle is keeping watch over him. He wanted to come and see Bella but he believes Edward was being controlled and didn't want to leave him alone." I nodded trying to understand the information she was telling me. How could he have been controlled without me seeing it? Or noticing for that matter. "DAMN THESE GUYS ARE HUGE!- OUCH!" I let out a dry chuckle at Emmett's comment. I turned towards Bella's pack mates. "The man is Maliki" he brought his fist to his chest and bowed. "It's a pleasure to meet you, however not under these circumstances." "It's a pleasure to meet you as well Maliki, we should get better acquainted on better terms soon"Esme smiled gracefully as always. He was dazzled for a few seconds before smiling back slightly and nodding. I chuckled at him softly as he regained his composure. He gestured to the tiger on his right side "This is my mate Raina and this here-" he gestured to his left. "-is my sister Kayla" they both bowed tucking a paw to her chest lowering their heads. "Its also a pleasure to meet you two." Esme said again. They nodded their heads in return walking closer to us. "this is our mother Esme, and my brother Emmett." I introduced. "Sup" Emmett said nodding his head spouting a childish grin. Rose shook her head wrapping her arm around her waist smiling. I frowned looking back at Bella laying lifelessly on the ground. I walked back over to her and placed my hand on her head. "what are we going to do about Bella?" I whispered sadly. Maliki cleared his throat causing me to look up at him. He was smiling sadly at me and Bella. "her majesty will wake up soon and realize she was over taken by her bloodlust and rage. The enchantment I used is magic given to us from the First Royal, it allows me to sedate first time shifters if they get out of control." "wait hold up" Emmett began. "First Royal? What is that? And why did you call Bella Bear 'Her Majesty?" he huffed crossing his arms not liking being out of the loop. "there is too much to be explained here. Why don't we move to a more comfortable place? I'll tell you all there is to know about the Royal Family."

We all sat down listening intently to what Maliki had to tell us about the "Royal Family" and what it was. "To begin with the First Royal ruled over all the supernatural, in a time where peace was with all nations and species. It was a merry time, our secret was well kept from the humans. Vampires never -had to feed on them-" "wait you mean to tell me Carlisle wasn't the first to not drink from humans?" Rosalie interrupted. Maliki shook his head sadly. "In fact vampires never needed to feed off of humans until the Genoktonía. " I raised my hand slightly not wanting to be rude. He chuckled softly "yes your Majesty?" I cocked my head to the side in confusion. "Why did you address me like that?" I inquired. He blinked once before responding "Because you are mated to Her Majesty, a Royal. And in turn that makes you a Royal." he stated simply. I sat there in shock for a minute trying to absorb the information. "is that why I have these tattoos?" His eyes widened in surprise and the two other tigers ears perked up staring intently at me with large yellow eyes. "show us" I stood and shrugged off the jacket I grabbed before heading out and tossed it to the ground. "oh Alice.." Esme murmured. "damn.." Emmett muttered, I heard the familiar sound of Rose smacking him behind his head with the predicable ouch falling from his lips. "Your Majesty" I turned my head to see Maliki kneeled down with a fist touching the forest floor and the other across his chest, both Raina and Kayla had kneeled the same way they had done before. "w...what are you doing" I asked stepping back. They shouldn't be bowing to me. "you have the marks of a Royal. We are your servants and we will live our lives to serve and protect you" Maliki spoke in reverent tone. I shook my head walking up to him holding out my hand. He looked up confused grabbing my hand allowing me to pull him up. "you are not my servant" I spoke up directing this to Kayla and Raina as well. "none of you are, you are my friends, my allies. We will serve each other as so." All of them nodded, while Maliki looked at me with a soft gleam in his eyes. "I see why you are Her Majesty's mate, you two are very alike in that manner." If it were possible I probably would have been blushing red as rose right now. I nodded in thanks taking my seat by Bella's head gently lifting it onto my lap. It surprisingly wasn't as heavy as I assumed it would be. I stroked the top of her head, threading my fingers through the semi-long hair that covered her face. "You had a question your maj-" "Alice, its just Alice." I interjected with a small smile. He smiled back as they all sat back down, Raina pulling her mate into her belly by pilling the scuff of his shirt by her teeth. He chuckled and reached up caressing her muzzle. A low rumble filled the air, much like the purr Bella gave this morning only softer. "Well, just Alice" he continued with mirth swimming in his eyes. "your question?" I cleared my throat softly, which was unnecessary but a habit I picked up over the years of acting like a human. "yes, you mentioned before Genoktonía, that's Greek for genocide right? So you'd be referring to a human genocide." I concluded more to myself. He nodded frowning slightly. "yes, there was a group of rouge vampires who called themselves 'The Volturi'." We all stiffened at the name, clearly not the only ones who despised and feared them. "They believed they were above the humans. Seeing that they possessed superhuman powers, and humans were inferior to them they began to hunt them for fun. Gathering more followers as they went because they discovered that human blood made them more powerful than animal blood. But what they failed to realize is that although it gave them power, they were also cursed from drinking the blood of the innocent. The burn in your throat, the always persistent need to drink and crave the blood of a human was because of that curse. It's what made their eyes red, their minds primal and monstrous. It made them crave more, crave for power and lead to the mass genocide of humans. During that time, our Queen gathered those of us who wanted to fight against the blood drawn demons. Into the war known as the Pólemos Aímatos" "the blood war" I murmured to myself. "Yes and it lasted for a century, by then the Volturi learned of our weaknesses from captured warriors. How to kill us in battle and to render us completely unable to fight back. We were dying in vast numbers too quickly. So our Queen challenged the head of the Vulturi, Aro." A pained expression covered his face, causing Raina to wrap herself further around him. "but she could not know of the powers they possessed. A power so evil and sinister that could leave the mightiest unable to see, feel, sense, or hear anything. We could not get to her, see her, or even communicate. Only when it was too late could we hear our Queen. She had told us to retreat, to continue the ways of our people until a new Queen would rise and restore balance into our worlds" He finished turning his gaze to Bella, everyone did. She was their Queen, and that meant only one thing. Bella had to destroy the Volturi.
