Him
Football season had started again. Training was long and hard but thinking of Lillian helped through it.Our first game was on a Friday afternoon. Lillian sat up in the bleachers, wrapped up in blankets, trying not to be sick from the medicine she was on. You wouldn't be able to tell how sick she was if you just saw her sitting on the bleachers. She had the world's biggest grin on her face and seemed like she was having a great time.
By the end if the game she was doing much better. She wasn't sick at all.
"Hey Lil, did you want to go to the game party at Jordans house or do you want to go home for a bit?"
"Well, I havnt ever been to a party so, let's try something new."
We went back to her house so she could change into something more party appropriate. She picked out this short black dress that had diamonds on the top and ruffled out down to her knees.
When we pulled up to Jordans house all of the football guys were standing on the lawn holding up signs. I got out of the truck and she read the signs. Will you go to formal with me? Once she saw the signs at saw that I was standing at the end with flowers she began to cry. She ran over and jumped up into my arms. "Yes! Yes! A thousand times yes!" Everyone began applauding and then we all went in to party. At about 11 Lill said she needed to go home. And amazing enough I didn't drink at all. I was too consigned the something might happen to her or drinking might affect her medication but neither one of us deank and we still had fun.
When we got to her house she told me she wanted me to come in to her house and stay the night. I didn't know that her parents were okay with it so I was kind of sceptical but I didn't want to upset her on such a awesome night. We went into her room, I put my jogging pants on while she changed into pj's then we curled up under the blanket warming each other up. "I love you"she whispered. As I whispered back to her she fell asleep in my arms. I pressed my lips to her forehead then, as I lay beside her, fell asleep.
