Him
I couldn't wait for her to get to my house. I just needed to see her. Even though it was only a couple hours that I couldn't see her I missed her. It felt like we had been apart for years.I expected to be amazed when I saw Lillian in her dress but she looked more stunning than I ever could have imagined. She looked like a princess. I couldn't help but to let the tears roll down my face. I felt like the luckiest guy in the world. It seemed like I was in a dream and it couldn't get any better.
I couldn't believe how beautiful she was. Every time she left to go talk to one of her friends I couldn't help but to watch her everywhere she went. I couldn't believe how far we had come. One moment we wouldn't even talk and now here we are. She was always the shy girl that never wore a bit of makeup or nail polish and now here she was all dolled up and covered in sparkles. Not only had she changed but I guess I did too. From being with the guys all the time talking about something pointless to being by her side and being thankful for every word she spoke.
I felt bad for her because I think she realized that she wasn't going to live forever and she would be lucky to ever see her friends again. For me on the other hand all of my friends were moving to New York so I would still see them all the time. She seemed so happy being here at her prom. She was alive and thriving. She was even well enough to dance through the whole prom. No one expected her to be as well as she was. She was lucky.
