I sung 'Company' by drake as I pulled into Macy's, my second job. I checked my phone one last time before I walked into the building hoping shad had texted me back, which he hadn't. With a sigh I walked in and went straight to the employee room to clock in and lock my purse up.
"Jazmine!! you're late. " My boss Jade yelled as she shut the door " what's it this time ? Car broke down , babysitter canceled , woke up late.. Come on now, I've given you too many chances when you only work maybe 2-3 days a week" she said as she looked me with pity. I just rolled my eyes
" I'm sorry ok ... " I said closing my locker and looking at her again
" sorry isn't enough hon. I promise you, you late once more your won't have a job to be late to" she said that and walked out the door.
I walked out the room and behind the counter opening a register and helping customers.

Close to closing a young couple came in quickly and were looking around before the man whipped out a pistol and shot a guy named John in the head. " We want the money and no one else will die !" He yelled as the woman pulled out a bag. I prayed silently as he walked toward me and shoved the gun into my head
"Did you hear me bitch? Money now !" he yelled pushing me to the register. Tears fell down my face as I opened the register and tried moving away but he grabbed my arm roughly and hit the butt of the gun against my head. I fell and everything went black..
