Melanie POV
"Good morning, sweetie. What can I get you?" Viv, the elderly woman asked.
"Hey good morning. I would like a hazelnut coffee with a cream cheese bagel please," I smiled and she did the same.
"Where are out of hazelnut coffee, will vanilla coffee be okay?" She asked.
"Ugh yeah sure but still cream cheese bagel," I replied and she nodded her head.
"Your order is coming right up," She replied.
"Thank you," I said and she nodded her head.
After I received my order, I sat down in the booth that was near the window.
While I ate, I read the newspaper that my dad gave me. Nothing new occurred but the usual stuff.
"Hey there beautiful, what's your name?" Some guy said with a red velvety voice.
I looked up, seeing the most handsome guy ever.
"Um Melanie," I said, shyly.
"I'm going to call you Mel for short." He replied."My name isn't Mel...its Melanie." I rolled my eyes since it annoyed me when anyone called me Mel.
Seeing how he was somewhat annoying me, a smirked formed across his handsome face.
"Not only are you beautiful, but your feisty also." He chuckled a little. "But I'm still going to call you Mel." He said in a final tone.
"Whatever." I sighed.
Suddenly, his phone ranged and when he answered the call he looked pissed off.
Now I was starting to see why people feared, if looks could kill then a lot would be dead by now.
Before he walked away, he told me that he would see me later.
After he left, I had a feeling he was bad news around here and bad boys like him were one of my weaknesses.
