We have been walking for 2 hours now and just decided to take shelter for the night in an abandoned little cottage

"Guys we should split up and check the house if it's clear" I suggested

"But how is splitting up gonna work if there is five of us" Ashton questioned

"Well, you and Michael can go check upstairs, Calum and Luke can check the left side I'll check the right side" I explained

"But we can't leave you alone" Luke argued

"Why not?"

"Because, um because we need to stick together"

"Luke, I'm not a 3 year old I don't need protection" I rolled my eyes "and besides, I've been alone for about a year I know what to do" I said before he could fit another word in, I grabbed my knife out and walked inside the house. I walked over to the places I said I would cover, I was walking through the kitchen, clear. Then I walked to the dinning room, clear. Last room was some sort of study, no sign of any zombies here

'Clear' I yelled out, I walked over to where Calum and Luke were

'You guys clear?' I asked them

'Yep, Ash Mikey you okay?' Calum yelled up to them.

"yeah were fine, so we are staying here tonight?' one of them asked as we heard them walk down the stairs

"okay, so the house is all clear?" i asked them to make sure that we definetly knew

"Yes, it is" Michael assured us, we all sat down on the couch and started talking about our pasts, apparently all the boys used to be in a band called 5 seconds of summer, it was just apparently they were a big band but hadnt heard of them. Luke has 2 brothers but he hasn't found the since the apocalypse has started, Ashton has a brother and sister and apparently they got split up, Michael doesnt have any siblings but apparently his mum turned into a zombie and he had to kill her and Calum also got split up from his family. after we finished talking Michael and I went to the kitchen to grab some food. all we could find was some canned spaghetti

"this is good enough" i mumbled, he nodded and we grabbed 5 cans of the spaghetti and forks

"think fast" Michael shouted as he threw the spaghetti towards Luke and Calum, they both successfully catched it and he walked over to give them there forks, i walked over to Ashton and handed him his

"sorry, this is all we could find" i mumbled

"its fine, i mean any food is good in a Zombie apocalypse" he laughed. his smile was so bright and he had these cute little dimples on both sides of his face,i mean obviously thats where dimples are

"so what instrument did you play in the band?" i asked as i ate a spoonful of spaghetti

"i used to play the drums,wait i mean i used to shred the drums" we both laughed, we kept talking about our past and things. later on we decided that it we should go to bed in shifts so Calum Ashton and I went to bed while Mikey and Luke

2 hours later and we changed shift, it was mine and Calums turn

"How was your some what sleep?" Calum asked me as we sat on the couch together

"It was alright, best sleep ive had in a while you know?"

"Yeah i know" he chuckled

"Gosh, who knew this would happen to the world" i chuckled

"I know, one minute im getting ready for a show with the boys and then next minute, zombies. zombies everywhere" he frowned

"last thing i did before the world ended was told my mum she was such a hypocrite and that i never loved her, then left and yeah" i lowered my head, Calum didnt know what to say so he just rubbed my forearm, for comfort im guessing.

our time was up and it was now Ashtons turn with Michael, we know Michael was just up but he offered to go twice. i laid in bed and just stared at the ceiling thinking about if i should stay or not, i mean they seem like great guys but whether i should trust them or not isnt clear yet
