I woke up the next morning wrapped up in Matrix's arms, laying on his chest with his legs entwined with mine, his head laying on my shoulder and chest. I gently shook his awake "Matrix, time to wake up, come on sleepy head work time."

He slowly started to stir cuddling further into my arms, he huskily murmured out "one more hour."

I shook my head laughing "no Trix, time to wake up."

After I said the new nickname I had given him he repeated it then asked "Trix? Where did that come from it sounds awfully girly!"

I laughed getting out of bed pulling down my shirt to hide my exposed stomach "well I am a girl there for it should be girly and you found out my name by tricking my mother, I find it to be fitting."

He laughed getting out of bed getting clothes then running into the shower before me, I yelled "hey I need to get ready."

He laughed back "you should have thought about that before waking me up so early."

After 15 minutes he was ready and I didn't have time to mess around so I got into the shower after him doing what needed to be done. Once I was out Matrix was sitting on my bed playing on my phone, I scared him as soon as I spoke "I think we need to come to some sort of agreement because you taking long showers means my morning doesn't run as smoothly."

He nodded his head "I totally agree next time I have a shower you should really join me."
I shook my head laughing as I walked out of the room "not going to happen ever Matrix."

When I got downstairs breakfast was made ma and pa were waiting for us to join them, as we sat down they engaged us both in a conversation but we just made small talk. Once we were done at the table Matrix and I headed out to feed the animal, we were shortly done there and we were headed to the stables.

I raced him there, of course, beating him there because he didn't know the way my bad, I showed him where he could find most of the things we needed to complete basic tasks. As soon as he saw the hay he picked me up and laid me down, he laid on top of me supporting himself with his arms. He looked into my eyes and asked "why do you have to be such as a good southern belle?"

I looked at him for a moment confused, Matrix just called me beautiful. "I'm not a good southern bell!" I stated with a mischievous smirk on my face.

He smirked back asking "then what are you then?"

I whispered to him "very confused."

He brushed his nose against mine, he said "I want to help you find yourself."

I shook my head "how can you help, you are a delinquent on parole and I am a small town girl that knows nothing of the world."

I could see the words that just came out of my mouth hurt him but he barely let that show, instead, he got off of me walking out of the barn "I guess you're right." He said as he walked out.
