"I Can't stay here anymore," Sakura was saying. Everyone was silent, probably from the shock. Naruto broke the silence, as always. "W-What do you mean?" He asked breathlessly. Sadness was filling his big blue eyes. "I'm sorry Naruto... I'm leaving the leaf," She explained sadly. Tsunade slammed her hands down on her desk and stood up angrily, almost knocking down her chair. "Sakura!" She yelled, "Do you really think I will just let you walk out of the village!? If you leave, you will become a rogue ninja and an enemy of the leaf!"
Sakura looked at the Hokage intensely. "Lady Tsunade, all my life I have just been a burden on everyone. When Sasuke left, all i wanted was to bring him back but I've never been powerful enough. I have been training my heart out all by myself because everyone is always to busy training Naruto. No one pays attention to me." Sakura clenched her fists together. "I'm tired of it!" She yelled. "It's time for me to go save Sasuke on my own! And I can't do that here!" Tsunade stared at her in disbelief.
Kakashi spoke. "Lady Tsunade, I know this is a bad situation, and believe me, I don't want to lose another member of Team Seven but even if we tell her not to leave she will go anyway." He was staying calm like always. "Then I will put her on surveillance! She will be watched by ANBU 24/7!" The Hokage yelled. "She's right! We can't just let her go!" Naruto shouted. Sakura really didn't want to do this to everyone, especially Naruto, who was her best friend, but she felt like she had to do this no matter what. She was achieving nothing in Konoha. "Sakura is one of the best konoichi I know, she's to smart; she would just find a way out." Kakashi stated. "Just trust her and let her go. If she has the Hokage's permission to leave she would not be considered a rogue ninja."
Skaura stared at him in surprise. Tsunade slumped back into her chair. "If you so strongly believe this is the only way for you to get Sasuke back, then Sakura, I give you permission to leave the Leaf Village." The pink haired konoichi sighed in relief. Sakura started to walk out of the room after she thanked Kakashi and Tsunade, when Naruto grabbed her arm. He was staring at the floor, shadows hiding his eyes under his blond hair. "Sakura..." His voice was low and serious. "You better-" His voice broke. "You better come back to us..." He looked up and met her gaze and yelled, "I'll be waiting for you, Sakura! We all will!" Tears streamed down his face. Sakura's eyes widened in surprise, then her expression softened. She touched his face, her hand resting on his cheek. "Naruto, next time you see me..." She wiped the tears off his soft cheek, "I'll be strong enough that we can bring Sasuke home together." She smiled at him sweetly and he slowly let go of her arm. Then smiled sadly back at her...
