After James finished his story he stood up, "Well I think thats enough for today, It's getting late." Regen tugged on James' sleeve, " I know buddy, up we go." He lifted Regen up and onto his shoulders. "Pyra you coming with us?" Pyra responded with only a nod, "Oh and Terra, your dad will be up soon." and with that said, they left.
I could see the sun going down, it was an Inset, a day where the sunset is blue. They say it sets blue because angels are crying, not tears of sadness, but tears of joy. "Hey," it was my dad, he walked up the stairwell, and towards me, "Woah this is really high up. Well how was your first day?"
"It was okay.", "Well that's good, what all did you do today?" I thought for a moment trying to remember the days events," Well James told us what we'd be doing for training, he told us a story about the city, oh and he had us drink some eco."
"HE WHAT?! I'LL BE BACK, I GOTTA TALK WITH HIM." He left, going down the stairs."Maybe I should call mommy, and have her pick me up." I grabbed my left shoulder and twisted, which would call for my mother, you could see the stone inside my shoulder faintly when it was twisted."
"I CAN'T BELIEVE HE HAD MY DAUGHTER USE THAT, AND DIDN'T EVEN CONSULT ME! JAMES!" I bursted into his office, which was on the main floor in the exact center of the tower. I was surprised how it looked, it seemed like a log cabin, but it looked like somebody had done some remodeling.
"Oh it's you, I guess you have a problem?" I balled up my fist, walked up to him and grabbed hime by his collar. "HOW DARE YOU HAVE HER ECONIZED WITHOUT !" James looked at me blankly. Then started talking, and his voice changed, it sounded like cinders popping in a fire."You have guts, walking up to me like this, you do know who I am? I am our only hope, and I am stronger than you, much stronger." We glared at each other for a good minute or two, then he began to chuckle. "Sorry, I couldn't hold it in, that was to funny." I let go of him, "What was so funny?" He started to calm down and even wiped a tear from his eye. "That performance. I'm not really the serious type, I prefer to take everything with a grain of salt, it comes in handy. But the reason i let her consume the eco, is because those three are different. Your daughter, she has a gift doesn't she? One you didn't tell us about. The gift of nature. Every thing in existence contains eco, it's what holds our bodies together, and if it is concentrated, it becomes a truly miraculous source of power. Nature itself contains an astounding mass of it, so it should only help Terra's power."
"I understand that, but still. I didn't bring her here for that." James let out a sigh, before he punched me, it hit my cheek bone directly, not with enough force to break it, but enough to make me fall on my back. "You're a fool. I knew you would object, and that's why I had them drink." I sat up, "But still, why? I DON'T WANT HER TO BE A WEAPON!" James seemed to take that to heart, and he actually let out a tear, just one, from his right eye. "They won't be weapons, I promise, they are still children, and they are still people, not weapons, I'm giving them a gift, because after just one day, I already feel that they are the children of prophecy." My eye twitched at his words, "YOU CAN'T BE SERIOUS!" James sat back down, "Oh I'm deadly serious. The prophecy matches them. THE RAGE OF FIRE, THE WISDOM OF RAIN, AND THE HOPE OF EARTH, SHALL CLEANSE THE PAIN, THE FAMILY OF THREE, FROM A NEWLY GRAFTED FAMILY TREE. I do believe they are of the prophecy. Without a doubt, Pyra wields fire, and your daughter, earth. Also something you should know, the water nymphs child, responsible for the creation of this city, is Regen."
