Chapter 6 :

Percy 's POV

" As you know Perseus is about to turn 18 " Zeus said .

All the Olympians nodded .

" As his last quest to prove himself I task him to find Orion and bring him to the council during the summer solstice as it is before his birthday " Zeus said .

" That's impossible brother ! You are only given him a few months to find him " my father argued .

" I am king and I am to be followed whoever opposed shall be punished!" Drama queen said .

He may be King but father and together with uncle hades , he stand no chance , father didn't want to deny his little brothers ego . I heard a chuckle in my head confirming it .

Suddenly Artemis shouted

" father this is not fair ! I should be the one to hunt him down and kill him ! Not that male !" She spat

If I wasn't immortal I would have been dead with her stare . And a little hurt for the way she called me .

" That's enough Artemis ! My decision is finally ! " The almighty King ( rolls eyes ) declared .

" Perseus shall take his leave in two weeks time to prepare , Athena shall teach him battle strategies, Ares shall teach him how to wield weapons and Apollo and Artemis will alternate and teach him to wield a bow. Any objections? " Zeus said .

None oppose.

Few days passed

You its really hard to concentrate When the teacher is boring and has owls for a pet no wonder father dislikes her .

" I heard that " she said and used her teaching stick to whack me .

Anyway it's gonna end anyways so I just walked out of her palace and walked to the arena
To have some fun beating the crap out of ares .

" hey warhead ready to get your ass kick ?" I asked

" shut the hades up " he screamed charging towards me .

" from what I learnt number 1 is to not get agitated by the opponent " I said while blocking his strike .

" number 2 is always watch your stance and your opponent's stance " he was too busy watching to check his own stance I quickly used hurricane and slashed he legs he dodged it and jump anticipating it I kicked his knee .

He grunted and fell . I laughed a walked towards the Archery range which is my favourite lesson well because someone's there . I heard Ares trying to surprise me

" And number 3 always keep a guard " I quickly front flip and turn to counter his attack .

He was slashing Wildly trying to hit me but I just blocked him every single time . I saw that he was getting tried and quickly jab him with the end of my sword .

" not bad Perseus " Artemis said .

" thanks Arty " I joked

For some reason she blushed and looked away , maybe she's getting a Cold ?

We walked towards the range

She asked to show her the stance Apollo taught me , I got everything correct but I just can't hit the board .

" can I see your bow Perseus ? " she asked .
She took it and examined it . The way her eyes scrunches looks so cute .

" what kind of bow is this ? It's like you got it from the junk shop near the bakery!" She said

I just looked down cause that's what I did .

" ok never mind I'm not going to ask you where you got it , lets go to hepaestus black smith and call your father to help.

We went there and told what design I wanted and I told him that he could make it as cool as he like .

" hey arty wanna go out for lunch you while we wait unless your busy or you wanna just - "

She placed her finger on my lip to shut me up

" yes I would love too "

We went to the bakery and bought some bread . I flashed some nectar and wine glasses to a nice spot I found somewhere in the World.

" hey Arty I know a great place to have lunch ."

I mist traveled to the place .its was a cliff with the sea below us .

We started eating and talking .

" hey since you started calling me Arty why not I find you a name as well ? " she asked

" sure why not " I smiled she was really beautiful I couldn't find my self to say no .

" ok how bout Percy ? "
I really like the ring of it

" yah I love it ! " I said

She smiled . She walked towards the end . I followed he we were both looking at the sunset .when it set , she didn't notice I was there and slipped I quickly wrap my arms around her back to prevent her from falling .

" you ok ? " I asking looking into her silver eyes .

I don't know if it was the one in a moment thing or what but we stated Leaning when I heard a cough . I looked around and say hepaestus in an iris message . We both blushed I moved away from each other .

" Um Perseus I hope I wasn't interrupting anything but your bows done you can collect it later " he said smirking .

Hey guys I finally found time to update . I was really busy . I have girls brigade practise for drill com and I had family friends who came to visit and I toured Them around where I lived how you liked this chapter guys , I'll update normally on 19 December.
