Star Wars - Black Bounty

Chapter 6

                  

After a while of riding they arrived to a small village, with small spherical houses spread out across the area. The town had a gloomy feel, and the citizens moved lifelessly across the town as if they didn't have a care in the world. But the town suddenly sprung to life when Reylan was seen as the citizens despised anything other than what they knew.  They stared at him as if he were a ghost, they watched his every move with a certain caution, for new things scared them. Reylan stared back, his hand on his blaster. Ready for anything.        "What the hell are they looking at?" Reylan exclaimed,

"They've never seen you before, and therefore you're 'dangerous' " Vulross said laughing

"What's so funny? They'll probably tell the order soldiers!"  Reylan said worried.

"There's a 210 to 2 chance they will inform this to the authorities." R0 stated.

" Then lets get these dammed parts. And quick!" shouted Reylan.

"I agree." Said Vulross

Their pace quickened as Vulross lead them to a hut no different to the others, except this one had a sign outside of it saying Spare Parts, and the moment Reylan stepped inside, a toydarian appeared out of nowhere flapping his leathery wings saying "welcome, welcome, what can I do you for?"

"I'm looking for a scanner, and not an expensive one!" Said Reylan

"Sure, sure my friend I know the thing for you come this way."

" And don't screw me over because.." he said as he indicated to his blaster.

"Ohhh tuff guy, I see I see. I only sell finest quality goods, even for cheapoes like you" He said while laughing " now come, come" he led Reylan to the back of the building, his leathery wings still flapping. The toydarian showed him a rusty scanner, "This one seems to suit your situation!"

"I thought you said you only had finest quality good?" Reylan said, with an irritated tone,

" Yes this ones a classic! Hasn't got the best range but it makes up for it in endurance!" The Toydarian said in a jolly way "In your line of work I'm sure durability goes a long way eh?"

"R0 get over here!" Reylan bellowed. Suddenly the sound of wheels speeding through the building became louder and louder until R0 said " Here Reylan what do you want now?"

"Don't get lippy with me. Take a look at this!" Reylan ordered.

"I'm sure I need lips to get lippy and since I don't have them that does not compute!" R0 said provocatively

"Just take a look at it ok?" sighed Reylan, not wanting to answer his call to an argument.

"Its seems to be in good condition." R0 said

"We'll take it." Reylan said happily

"Good, good!" The toydarian exclaimed.

" Don't forget about some paint for me as well!"  R0 said

"If I have enough ok?" Reylan said.

Reylan gave the toydarian the necessary credits and was about to leave until Vulross ran in shouting in a scared voice " Order soldiers, and they have a hologram of your face!"

"Once again, I'm right!" said R0 arrogantly

"No time for jokes R0! How do we get out of here!" exclaimed Reylan

"This is not good for business, not good at all! Get out!" said the toydarian rapidly.

"The order soldiers have a ship if we hijack it we could get out of here!" said Vulross excitedly
