I open the front door and shut it behind me walking up to the black mustang.
"Hi." I say getting into the car and buckling up.
"Hi beautiful." She responds and grabs my left hand.
"How was the three hours without me?" I ask laughing.
"Horrible." She responds.
"Aww." I say.
"Is a picnic okay?" She asks turning into a beach parking lot.
"Yes, of course" I say.
We both get out of the car and she grabs the picnic basket before locking the door. She grabs my hand and walks with me to the beach. We sit down and she opens up the picnic basket handing me a small personal pan pizza from papa johns.
"I love pizza. Is it cheese?" I ask.
"Yes and I remembered you love pizza because you wanted it a lot when we were younger." She says laughing bringing out her own.
"Finishing touches." She says handing me a cold root beer.
"You remembered." I say speechless.
"Of course." She says smiling,
I start eating the first small slice and looked up at her.
I saw a black ring around her nose and lip.
"Wait you have piercings?" I ask.
"Yeah I took them out earlier." She says.
"You look amazing with a nose and lip piercing." I say.
"So do you." She says .
"Thanks." I keep eating .
When I finished eating I threw both of our boxes and empty soda cans away.
"Care to go walking?" She asks.
"Of course." I say.
Janet picks up the picnic basket and puts it in the car quickly before coming back to me before we started walking. She grabs my hand and we start walking to the pier. When we get on the pier, she leans up against the pier.
"I still love you." She says.
"I-i-i." I stutter. I didn't know how to respond because I did love her but Luke.
She grabs her phone out and plays sorry by sleeping with sirens.
"You like them?" I ask.
"I love them." She says.
"Same here." I smile.
"Care to dance with me?" She asks.
"Yes." I say.
She wraps her arms around my neck and I wrap my arms around her waist.
We slow dance until the song is over and then start hugging again.
"Can I kiss you?" She asks looking at me.
"Yes." I say before wrapping my arms around her waist. She grabs my face and slams our lips together.i kiss back a little before I feel my back pocket buzz. I grab it and look at it.
