I just finished the dishes and was having a break so I sat on the counter eating a sandwich and talking to one of the waitresses named Nikki who's a good friend, she's my brothers age. I smirk slightly when I see David & Luke walk in just as Nikki and I started singing to the radio, our boss walks out and saw the bandages on my wrists "Ash, can you come in earlier tomorrow, Cindy just called saying she can't work" Mariah asks sternly.

"Yeah sure thing!" I said forcing a smile as Nikki goes towards my brothers table to take their order, Mariah goes back to her office as I head back into the back room, Evan and I talk as I start cleaning more dirty dishes "so what'd your brother say about it?" He asks smirking slightly "he wasn't very happy" I said amused.

"Hey do you wanna hang out after work, I finish before you but I can wait" He says hopefully "yeah sure" I said smiling at him before I get back to work, I go to help wait tables and saw my brother & Luke had left. Evan finishes an hour later an sat at the counter talking to Nikki who's been his crush since well before I started working here.

I soon finish my shift an we left "ok so if you wanna get Nikki to be your girlfriend, grow a pair and ask her out, idiot!" I said rolling my eyes as he drives to his house "I'm paying you to help not insult me" He mutters glaring at me as he parks his car and we walk inside "fine, its obvious she likes you but you gotta make a move before she loses interest" I said sternly as we sit in the living room.

"I will eventually" He says sighing and we watched football until my brother messages me to get my ass home now, Evan drives me home and I walk inside only to see David waiting with crossed arms and narrowed eyes, I shut the door "where have you been!" He asks angrily "at Evan's, what's up your ass" I said amused walking into the kitchen to see Mum, Dad and Luke.

David follows me in "who's Evan?" He asks over protectively as always "David, leave her alone" Mum slurs an burps, I stick my tongue out at him and got a bottle of water from the fridge "hey Mum, I'm skipping school tomorrow, Mariah wants me to work" I said softly "fine but after you gotta do the grocery shopping" She says an takes a long drink of whiskey "deal" I said an David looked annoyed as I shove past him and go to my room.

I have a shower and got dressed in sweatpants and a sports bra, I lay on my bed and text Sheila, I kept getting Facebook messages from Christina Jackson saying crap like 'you even stink at killing yourself' or 'your so fúçking pathetic', I ignore them and I know your probably wondering why I don't just block her well I can't or she'll just think I'm an even bigger loser running away from my problems.

I smile when I hear a tapping sound on my window, I stand up an open it letting the black crow inside "hello Juliet" I said as she flies onto my shoulder an nuzzles her little head against my cheek, I took care of Juliet when I found her with a broken wing and now she visits ever so often and is one of my best friends, I lay in bed and she watches the door with a fierce look as I fall asleep..
