Chapter 2 - The Bus

Cara's POV

"Where is it! Where is it! Where is it! My IPhone charger ! Where is it! CRAP!", I said worried sick. I checked all over my room for my charger. I flung the freshly washed sheets off my bed and there it was. Ugh, thank God! I kissed the charger with relief. "Okay I got everything. Phone, laptop, clothes, charger, snacks, make up bag, nail set, passpo-", I listed getting interrupted by the sound of the door bell ringing.

"Yo, yo, yo, what's the crai- ", Peyton started rapping as she barged into my room until I interrupted her. "Sorry girl no time for our rap now, we gotta get going", I said in a rush. "Ah are you serious I just walked from Laurens house with these heavy suit case's like, can we have rest", Courtney complained. "Nah we gotta get a good seat on the bus", I mocked."I'm guessing ye're partners yes ?", I questioned Lauren and Courtney.  "Nope, Courtney is going with Charlotte", Lauren said annoyed. "And you are going with Peyton, Kayla is with Ella, Talia is with Elise and Tris is with Ali. Therefore I have no partner", Lauren exclaimed angrily but calming down half way through giving up. "Air sure you'll b grand, what harm, we'll still talk to ya", Peyton said mockingly. "Huh, thanks", Lauren said fully giving up. "Dont worry we will try and get the back of the bus sure", Courtney said still out of breathe from carrying 3 of her own bags up the road. "Yeah well we will never get the back of the bus if we don't hurry up. The lads are probz already there", I said grabbing my suit case and shoving them out of the way.

We raced our way down to the school, tripping over our suit cases. "Guys slow down, I'm out of breathe! I have three suit cases to carry here liek!", Courtney complained. "Why do you have so much suit cases anyway? Whats the point? We're not gonna be there for a month like", Peyton quetioned and stated. "Em, hello? We're going to Orlando, there's gonna be cute guys everywhere. I am going to look my finest", Courtney stated clearly. Lauren and I laughed. We kept running and swung around the corner to the school gates. We could see everyone. "Great now we wont get the back of the bus, so now, I deffo dont have a partner", Lauren shouted, over annoyed. "Calm down, we are all friends and there's an even number, you will deffo have a partner", I told Lauren, trying to calm her down. We walked over to the rest, still struggling with our bags. "ALRIGHT LAADS!!!", Jeremy yelled over to us as we were walking towards the group.

"Ah lads, who am i going to be partners with like, ye all have a partner", Luke complained to the lads. " I dunno Luke, maybe we could try and get the back of the bus", Daniel suggested. "Nah man, there's only four seats at the back of this bus and Kayla, Ella, Talia and Elise already called it", Luke told Daniel really disapointed. I heard the whole conversation, of course, I literally but in on everything. I ran over to Lauren and told her the status. "Girl, update, Luke doesn't have a partner for the bus! ". "WHAT! Nah girl, your kidding and whatever, he wont sit next to me anyways", Lauren sighed. "Here, do you an RKO?", Peyton rhetoricaly asked Lauren. " Cause you will get one if you say that boy doesn't like you again. You need a wake up call", Peyton stated to Lauren. "Well, I never fully said he doesn't like me", Lauren said and shrugged. " So you admit, you think he has some feelings for you?", I questioned her. "Well, i never said that either", Lauren said quietly. "Make up your mind child", Talia and Kayla both said. I wanted to make it clear that Lauren had no partner either, so i shouted loud enough for them to hear. "SO. LAUREN. WHO ARE YOU PARTNERS WITH ON THE BUS, HAH? OH YA THATS RIGHT YOU DONT HAVE ONE", I shouted and winked towards Luke's direction, everyone now staring and Lauren looking embarresed. Luke smirked over at Lauren and a few lads giggled. He began to walk over and I shoved Lauren closer to him. She turned back to shoot me a glare and then walked towards Luke. They both stopped barely a foot away from each other and smiled awkwardly but they still found away to make it cute. " Hey, so, i have no partner too, if you eh -", Luke asked but got interrupted by Lauren half way throug the question. " Yes!", Lauren slitely shouted and froze after she did. "Omg Lauren, what was that!". Lauren thought to herself. Luke smiled. " Eh cool, see you in a minute then. Partner", Luke said cheekly and winked before he could turn around and walk back to the lads. Lauren was melting inside. I ran over and almost leaped over Lauren with exitement. "OMG GIRL!!!", Congratz! Your welcome by the way", I wink mockingly. We all giggle and it's time to hop onto the bus.

We are all on the bus sorting out our seats. Lauren and Luke didn't care where they sat as long as they were sitting together. " Well in Luke!", the lads start shouting from behind. Kayla and I start skitting. A few of us were walking down the bus trying to get a good seat, away from the teachers. Edward waved his hand at Ken, signaling him that he saved a seat for him. When we were standing next to him and the saved seat I quickly pushed Peyton onto the seat and sat down across from them. Ken then sat next to me and we were both giggling and sniggring at the two. Peyton gave that "Really?" look to me but was worshipping me at the same time.

Peyton looked at Edward who was already smiling. They looked deeply into each others eyes. Amazon green and deep sea blue. They were both smiling now, slowly leaning in.
