Cara's POV
"Yeaahh okay no, we are leaving, we are going to the ground floor to ask the secretary if there were anyone looking for friends because it's pretty late", I said about to press another button before Ken grabbed my arm.

"Cara, I don't think that's going to work", he said staring down the hall way.
"Sure it will", I replied about to press the button again.
"Well it didn't the last time, it took us right back here".
"That must have just been elevator troubles", I tried to convince him to agree.
"No no, come on let's try the stairs", Ken said walking down the eerie hallway.
I groaned and followed.

"You're over reacting you know, there's nothing wrong with the elevator or this floor", I said trying to dodge a few spider webs.

"The stairs are here come on", Ken said ignoring me.
I threw my eyes up to heaven and continued following him.

We walked through double doors that lead us to wooden stairs.
"Why are they made out of wood? That's a bit strange, the other stairs were marbly", he pointed out .
"Ugh Ken whatever let's just walk down them", I shook my head and laughed at him. I hoped onto the first step and before I knew it my foot went straight through the board, grabbing onto the banister in less than a second.

"Surprised your hand didn't go I through the banister too", Ken laughed and walked down a few steps, repeating my actions.
I burst out laughing as I attempted to stand up. "I never knew it cud have looked stupider than it felt !", I screeched and again bursting into laughter grabbing onto my stomach.
Ken groaned and carefully continued down the stairs.

We reached the end of the stairs and was left with only 2 double doors in front of us.
"Finally now let's get back to the others I said opening the two doors with either hand.

I opened the doors and it brought us to the same corridor we walked through to get to the stairs to go down.
We both looked at each other with confusion and turned around to look through the double doors again. It showed us a staircase going down.

"NO ! NO ! KEN WE JUST CAME DOWN THAT STAIRS HOW IS IT GOING DOWN", I yelled pointing at the staircase.

"Ohhhh crap. This place really is haunted".
"Ohhhh, I'm Ken I just witnessed a paranormal experience and I'm so cool about this haw haw", I said in a low mocking voice. He looked at me with blank face not too impressed.

"Cara this is not funny, we -".
"I KNOW it's not funny Ken were u not just here !? This isn't a game this is serious how the hell do we get out of this abandoned slash haunted slash should not be real floor !", I shouted at him really annoyed and almost in tears with the fear.

"Wait a second if this floor is abandoned and no one is here with us, why are the lights on?".
"And how are they on !?", I added.

Just about three seconds after we mentioned it, we were left in darkness.
I screamed with fright and fear as I stretched out my hands to see if Ken was still there.
"Ken turn on your flashlight on your phone!", I said taking out mine also.

We turned on our lights and pointed the phones at each other just to make sure it was fully us.
"Where do we go!?", Ken said shaking up.
I grabbed his arm and went through the double doors going back down the stairs that we should be going up.

"We are going to try this again, we are going crazy because the stairs can't just change like that it's impossible and I am not going back down that corridor", I said temperamentally, running down the stairs I might possibly fall through again.

I kept looking behind me to make sure Ken was still there. We came across the same double doors and opened a door each. The same corridor.
I stood there, eyes filling up with tears and I looked at Ken. Ken was staring down the dark hallway.
