Nevils POV
I'm the one who let the kangaroo out the cage.
I knew Alex would help me capture it infront of Fletcher.
Fletcher's reaction was the best part. I knew he'd show no trust for her anymore when she'd try to smile about it.
I should know. It happened to me.
I wanted her back so I did what I had to do.
I told Fletcher I'd find her. And when I do ill be there so she will have a shoulder to cry on and then fall in love with me again.
This will go perfectly.
Alex POV
I was hurt. I thought Fletcher trusted me.
Why can't I find a guy who doesn't mind I have guy friends?
This drove me crazy. So I ran.
I went to the second floor janitors closet.
I grabbed some towels and had a good cry.
I really thought Fletcher would be differant.
This is killing me.
Right now I can't believe I'm saying it but because of Nevils new attitude towards my descion. I kind of want to talk about it with no one but him.
I got quiet when I heard voices.
I started to listen when I recognized it as Chinas and I heard my name.
"Where do you think she is?" I heard Olive ask
"I don't know. Man I shouldn't have told Fletcher about Alex and Nevil"
Alex and Nevil? What?
"Yeah. She looked like she liked him. But I geuss not" was she talking about Fletcher.
It was them two who got that idea in his head?! And he listened. Wow what a great boyfriend.
"I predicted it was gonna end like this when Alex couldn't stop thinking about Nevil. Then she went to his house. You could see it coming"
Is that what they really thought I was going to do? What great friends. They never trusted me. That hurts a lot
"Come on we better find her" next I heard them leave.
I finally let the tears flow.
Soon I heard a knock on the door. I got quiet
"Alex I know your in there" it was Nevils voice.
"No I'm not" I say "I'm coming in"
He opens the door to see me crouched down. My knees brought to my chest.
He sat next to me closing the door.
"Are you ok?" He says looking concerned.
I couldn't help myself. I broke into tears again
Nevil hugged me and let me put my head on his shoulder.
I cried on his shoulder "shh it's ok tell me how you feel" he says giving me a comforting smile.
I look at him and return the smile
"Well China and Olive. I over heard them talking a few minutes ago. They-they are the ones who put I would leave Fletcher in his head. The worst part is he believed them" I say bursting into tears again.
The boy I'm crying on may have done that before but after he did he quickly tried to make it up to me and never stopped at it.
"I don't know what to do anymore Nevil" I say my head in the crook of his kneck as he held me.
"Well lets get you out of the closet. And we can finish the day. You can come to my house later" I smile "thanks. But what do I do when I see Fletcher or the girls?" "Just give them the silent treatment. Serves them good. They will learn eventually" he said helping me stand up.
"Thanks" I say hugging him.
"Anything for a friend" I smile at the comment.
We walked out. And started on finishing the day.
We were currently in the cafeteria.
Previously Fletcher and the girls tried to talk to me but I ignored them. Nevil said it was best.
Right now I wasn't eating. I decided to skip lunch. I wasn't that hungry.
Fletcher wouldn't stop staring at me. I know they were talking about me.
I couldn't take the staring so I excused myself to go to the restroom.
When I got in I decided to fix my hair and make up.
I redid my hair. I put it in a ponytail and fixed my eyeliner.
I heard China come in. Great.
I tried walking past her "wait Alex!" I turned around mad "what?" "What's wrong with you?" She said confused "oh please you saw this coming apparently. Thanks for being such a great friend" I say turning around "wait"grabbing my arm "Fletcher's worried about you" "well he shouldn't be. If he- you know what I gotta go" I say running out of the bathroom and back into the cafeteria.
"Are you ok?" Nevil asked. "Yeah I'm fine" I say looking down.
The rung "c'mon lets finish our last class and go home" he said.
"Ok" I said he took my hand and lead me out.
During class all I could think about is Fletcher.
It's not easy loving somebody one day and trying to forget him the next.
Officially we were not broken up.
I would have to talk about this with him eventually.
I really want him to explain what his thoughts were and not just jump to conclusions because of China and Olive
I really hope that he will tell me he was just a bit jealous. Instead of him telling me he won't trust me.
I wonder if he ever loved me.
*bring bring*
The bell rung.
Is class done already?
It went by really fast.
"C'mon lets go" Nevil said with a smile as we left.
But then it hit me
"Wait. I forgot my phone in my locker. Ill be right back" I say turning and heading to my locker.
When I got to it I opened it to find something fall out.
It was a note.
I swear if its from China!
It read
Dear Alex,
I'm really sorry. Can we please talk about this? I don't wanna break up. I love you

Thank goodness!
Should we talk?
After I go to Nevils ill leave a little early to go to Fletcher's.
I would want somebody ease dropping.
