Lana smiled, looking upwards at me. "Thank you... Vex. Most people dont understand why i push myself away, but thank you for committing."

But i did know. Whether or not Lana was trying to guilt trip me, or actually didnt know, was a mystery. She walked over to her bed, and flopped down.

"Ouch!" A voice sounded, from under the bed. Lana jolted up, and dragged out a guy, with short blue hair.

"Damnit Galdo! I told you to stop going under my bed!" Lana looked flustered, as if this had happened before. I laughed to myself, and watched them argue.

"My room was taken eh? Had nowhere else ta sleep."

"You know damn well where your room is. If you would stop revamping the layout of the place, maybe you wouldn't need to sleep in here all the time. Also, i have a couch! You buffoon."

Galdo stuck out his tongue. "But i like your room eh? Very... technical." He couldnt say 'technical' without tripping over his own words. Lana grabbed his shirt collar and pulled him up to her face.

"Stop going under my bed." His hair changed color to a pinkish-red, and he stood up, releasing himself from Lana, and her harsh grasp.

"Anyways Miss Computer, who's the newbie? This tha girl Jace be goin on, and on, and on about eh?" Galdo looked at me, a michevious grin playing at his face.

"Yes, this is Vex. Vex, meet Galdo. A Discordian."

"Oi! Im not an accordion!"

"I Said Discordian you damn fool!" Lana began yelling at Galdo, and he jokingly yelled back. I guess Lana couldn't take anymore, and she collapsed forwards, the color draining out of her eyes, and a red light flashing under her ear.

"Humanoids, eh?" Galdo spoke to me "Gotta love em'" he laid Lana in her bed, and connected a cable to her arm, which made a 'bloop' noise as it fell into place. A recorded voice spoke.

"Dr. Lana is resting now. Please exit the room and lab, at extreme caution. Do not touch anything, or move it."

Galdo led us out of the lab, where we met up with Jace, who was leaning outside, looking lost.

"Jace!" i yelled, running over to hug him. He moved his arms and held me back, then let go, looking at Galdo.

"Galdo..." he said, seemingly displeased, "You've moved the layout again. I can't find my room." Jace dragged an arm around my shoulders.

I interrupted. "What exactly is Galdo?"

"I Can tell ye what i am! Im a Mongolian! Wait, no that's wrong... Im a reptilian! Nope... An accordion! Yeah, that. Im an accordion!" Galdo seemed proud, with his explanation. I dont think he was very bright, in comparison to Lana.

"You're a Discordian, idiot" Jace spoke, "He is basically a chaotic being who loves creating things different and messing up people's lives." Galdo was ignoring this comment, and staring at the lab door, longingly. Out of thin air, he vanished, leaving Jace and i alone, standing in the hallways of this strange building. The hallways had no character, like the lab. They were plain, white, with no coverings. The wall infront of me switched, and the lab was replaced with a different room. The plaque on the door read; 'Galdo Mensh, Discordian.' Jaces eyes lit up, as if this is the room he was looking for.

"Jace...?" i spoke, "Why were you looking for Galdos room?" I watched as Jaces eyes widened.

"How did you know I... Was looking for it?" He asked

"You just said so?"

"No Vex... i didnt. Stay here, i have something to do." he rushed off, without a word, leaving me standing infront of a door. The place switched again, and i saw a new door, gasping at the sight. Half the plaque was missing, but you could read the first name.

'Ophelia' Lana said she had died, so why would she still have a room? Seeing no other option, i opened the door, and went inside. It was trashed. It looked like the inside of an old observatory, with broken equipment, everywhere. Entering, i stepped on a picture frame. Looking at the picture, i saw Galdo, Lana, and Ophelia standing together in a yard. Galdo had his arms around both girls, But...

Lanas face was scratched out. With a huge red 'X' Lana said she and Ophelia were friends, too close to be seperated, yet Lanas face was crossed out, in hatred. Turning it over, i saw a paper, with a plan on how to make a virus. I heard footsteps behind me, and hid behind a turned over bookshelf. Galdo walked in, his hands clenched in fists.

"Ophelia..." he began, "after all these years, i still hate ye... you cant be forgiven..." He turned to the empty room, and yelled out. "You deserved to die, you hear me?! You tried killing your best friend only because i didn't return your feelings for me!" He moved his hand, slamming a bookcase against a wall, smashing it. Galdo had obviously made this room his playground. Jace must've triggered him, so he came here. "I Dont care what you thought... Im glad i got there in time to make YOU catch, your own virus, Ophelia..." he turned to my bookshelf, and stopped, turning towards the door. "I will always care more for Lana than anyone else... I promised her i would never fall in love with her... but promises, promises can be broken." he left the room, and the noise stopped. I stood up, shocked with what i had just heard. Galdo loved Lana, that would explain why he acted the way he did around her. It was quite strange really, hearing that Galdo, a discordian, figure of chaos, would fall for a Humanoid, a face of logic. Stumbling out of the room, as soon as i closed the door, the room faded, going back to where i stood before, infront of Galdo's room.

Jace came down the hall. "Great, Vex, youre still here. Come, theres two people i want you to meet, the twins. They heard you are here, and are very excited to meet you." I was still in shock, so i nodded, following Jace down the hallway.

Ophelia... Galdo, Lana...

Something told me, there was a bigger mystery, under the one of who all these people were, and what they had in common.

What was i getting myself into?

One thing was certain. I opened my hand, still clutching the picture.

I had to tell Lana.
