Meltdown

- Control Thy Elements! (Or Like, You'll Make a Room Explode) -

I Paced around the room, while Galdo tried to comfort Lily. She could see it all through Rose's eyes, and it scared her. Lily was very timid, despite not having a little sister, i can know how Rose feels. I think we're all protective of Lily.

"Lily Is asleep eh. I guess the whole dilemma really shook her." Galdo said, walking towards me.

"Yeah. Its like her and Rose are the same person, sometimes."

"Youre Not too far off, eh." Galdo laughed, "They were. Then Rose became more interested in the dark arts, so tha light inside her, took a form, eh. They remained the same age, but the new form, Lily, became half as old as Rose. Eh? INteresting right!" Galdo looked proud, as if he liked talking. We heard yelling down the hall, and as they entered the room, Jace and Lana were supporting a blonde guy, as he was badly burnt. Galdo laughed, "Aha, Look its Sol! Shoulda known!"

Lana rolled her eyes, "He tried using advanced elemental magic again. For being a beginner, he's made more mistakes in training than you did, Galdo." Lana laughed, as Galdo got flustered and looked away. They set him down on Lily's couch, and he coughed.

"Do any of you guys have healing abilities?" I asked, looking at them.

Rose looked up, placing a towel on the new guys head. "Lily and I Do, Lily is a bit better at it though... but i can heal burns, such as these." Rose nodded, then went back to helping the guy. Jace looked unimpressed, and a little frustrated. Turning my head, i could see Galdo talking to Lana, nervously running his hands through his hair. Lily was still asleep. I honestly felt jealous... beneath the surface, they all had hidden things about them. Each of them had something that made them special, then there was me. As i looked down, Lily pulled on my sleeve, i looked down and she was smiling.

"Dont be so sad Vex, you're special too! You just havent found yourself yet." Lily hugged me, smiling up at me, happily. I hugged her back. For a child, she really knew how to talk to people, then again, she was as old as Rose, in delphine years. We both sat back down at the table, and she started coloring in a book happily. She drew figures that looked like Lana and Galdo, and they were holding hands under the moon. She then giggled and turned to me "Arent they the sweetest? Rose said she'd even change fate if they ended up apart, its funny." I looked at Lily, shocked. This young girl must know so much, but not as much as Rose. She jumped "Ooh! Tingly!" and she ran over to Rose, who had just successfully brought back the guy to a conscious state. He looked around the room, taking in his surroundings. Then he saw Rose, and remembered everything.

"R-Rose..." He stammered "I-It wasn't me... p-please understand..."

Rose stood up, upset. "Then WHO was it, Element boy? Galdo?"

Lily hit Rose gently in the shoulder, glaring. The two sisters, and 'Element Boy' Went into a door on Roses side of the room. It read 'Scrying Room'

"Who was he?" I Asked

Lana began speaking, but Galdo cut in. "Thats Sol, eh! He's an... efmelndatist. Wait, no, A Masochist? A... Eggplantist?" He got cut off by Lana punching him in the shoulder.

"He's an Elementalist. He can control the basic elements, along with their subtypes. He's the newest addition to our community... Unless you plan on joining?" They all turned and looked at me, as if they were Offering a huge invitation.

"Uh... I..." i was shocked. If i said yes, i could actually have friends. I gathered up all my courage and looked happily at them all. "Of course!"

Cheers and happiness echoed around the room, all except for Jace, who looked displeased. Lana turned to Jace.

"J, you okay?" Lana asked

"Why would you invite her... You're supposed to be smart." He snapped

Lana looked shocked, "What? Shes a Flexibus, she could become someone great here."

"NO. Shes a normal Human, we cant let her life be taken away."

Something dark, rustled inside me, and i turned to Jace, my eyes burning. "I Have no life there... you should know that, you saw me try jumping into a reactor."

Jace's eyes, widened. He backed up, looking afraid. I heard Galdo whisper 'Ohhhh Score' to Lana, who reacted by hitting him in the shins. I walked towards him, and he backed up, looking afraid. He then got his own power, and whispered...

"Try me, outcast."

That was the final straw. With one movement, i moved my hand horizontally.

SLAP

Jace went flying against the room, crashing into the central table. He groaned, getting up painfully. He then glared at Lana, and left the room. Breathing heavily, my mind cleared, and i was shocked with what i had done. The silence broke, and Galdo burst out laughing.

"That was the best thing ever eh! She was like, Kapow! And Jace was Like, WOOSH!" Galdo began waving his arms around dramatically, exaggerating the scene. "That was the BEST test of power i've EVER seen! A True fatbus!"

I began to get embarassed. "A Test...?"

Lana chuckled. "For each member we recruit, we give them a test to see if they are truly what we think they are. I've never seen one such as spectacular as this. As we laughed, Rose burst out of the scrying room panicking.

"Op-Ophelia..." Rose stammered "She... She started the fire... Sol tried to stop her, but she made it backfire on him..."

Lana looked shocked, "Shes Back...?"

I grabbed Lanas shoulder, showing her the picture, i watched as she thought it over, and read the back of it.

"My best friend tried to kill me...?" Lana was in tears

"She tried eh, but i stopped her." Galdo smiled, "Lana, i know you made me promise, but i've fallen for you." Galdo then embraced Lana in a comforting hug.

Sol walked out, hearing the commotion. He was supported by Lily. Sol smiled.

"I tried to stop her..." sol said, a little upset, "But she kept saying she was gonna get revenge on the order..."

Everything was a blur, more things messed with my brain.

Galdo confessed his feelings for Lana

I had punched Jace, in the face

Ophelia was back.

And i....
