Chapter 6- Little Did They Know

"Welcome to Dancing With The Stars! I'm Tom and this week, it's Classic Movies!" Tom announces as the show starts.

Bethany decides to get a seat a few rows behind the judges, with the hope that Derek wouldn't notice her.

I mean, after all. There's so many people in the audience.

What are the chance he sees her, right?

As Tom goes off to the sides, all the pro and troupe dancers come out and do the dance.

Witney, Sharna, and Peta come out in Marilyn Monroe costumes.

Sasha and Brittney come out as snow white and prince charming.

All pros start to fill in dressed as some sort of character from a classic movie,

And then there was Derek.

Dressed in a grey trench coat holding an umbrella.

And she knew exactly what who he was,

Gene Kelly.

He's always loved him. For as long as she could remember. He was addicted to singing in the rain when he was little. 

They would always fight about what movie to watch, when Bethany would want to watch a Disney movie while Derek wanted to watch Singing in the Rain...

She giggles at the memory.

Though she wish she didn't, for the exact moment she did. Her eyes met with a pair of blue ones..

Derek's.

Bethany quickly looked down at her phone as if she was on it until she couldn't feel Derek's eyes on her.

"Next up after the break will see how Nastia dealed with the pressure of living up to Derek's idol Gene Kelly!" Tom announces as the show goes to break.

Bethany sees Nastia and Derek come down onto the dance floor, just then see notices Derek heading towards her, and when the make eye contact. Bethany shook her head telling him to not come any closer.

Derek stared at her for a moment in confusion.. Why would she shoo him away?

"Uh. Derek?" A producer tapped his shoulder as he stood there.

Derek shook back into reality.

"Uh.. Yeah?"

"We need you to go to the centre stage where your routine starts."

"Oh ok."

Derek started to head back but then turned around again to look at Bethany.

"Uh Derek.. There's 90 seconds til we're live." The producer said once again.

"Right.." Derek turned around to go do the dance, though Bethany is still on his mind.

The show ended. Derek and Nastia scored the first perfect score of the season putting them on top of the leaderboard. Janel and Val scored a 27 out of 30.

"BETHHERSSS!!!" Janel yells as she sees Bethany.

"JANEL!" Bethany yells back laughing lightly.

"Ahh! I can't believe your here!"

"Well, I promised you I'd come to a show if I was ever in LA."

"Why are you here anyways?" Janel asks very curious.

"I'm here for beauty con."

"Wait, how long are you here for?"

"Beauty con is Thursday through Saturday, and then I leave on Sunday."
