"alright honey, so because you've graduated from high school, we plan on giving you this surprise." mrs curry, sydney's mom said.
"what is it?" i asked excitedly. i just graduated from high school a week ago, were they giving me a car, a puppy, cash, clothes?
"well," mr curry said, smiling while looking at his wife. "we are going to let you have a vacation for a year by yourself. but after a year, you must come back and go to college and start to apply for your proffesional job."
"MOM, DAD. NO WAY. ARE YOU SERIOUS?! YES THANK YOU SO MUCH." i leaped out of the couch and hugged them, face full of tears.
"no problem, anything for our dear child. you have to make a decision though, where do you want to go?" my dad asked.
"well, i was thinking of somewhere towards the south.. somewhere really special yet pretty peaceful. i got it! i would like to go to Sydney, Australia."
