-Sydney's pov-
work today went really really well. my shift started from 10am until 4pm. my manager Chrissy treated me really well, same went with the customers! im glad I've found the right spot to work at, it's all thanks to ash. omg i have to tell him later and thank him.
i walked around the town after work, trying to explore it a little bit more, then i heard really loud screams and music, there was a small concert. as i went closer i saw lulu, cal, mikey, ash. what?
wait, they're a band? and they're hella famous? i guess that explains the loud music i heard up stairs, they were probably practicing.
holy moly, they were talented as frickkk. mikey and lulu on the electric guitars and cal on the bass. and oh my gosh, is that Ashton on the drums? he looks completely different. he was so manly and his muscles were showing a lot from wearing a sleeveless shirt. a completely different sight of Ashton Irwin.
the concert soon came to an end and everyone started leaving, whereas i was walking towards them.
"guys!! i didn't know you were in a band!!" i ran to them and smiled.
they were surprised to see me and smiled at me.
"yeah, it's just a small side band that we have." cal said.
"we just go around cities performing, that's all, nothing out of the country." Lulu told me as he drank his water.
"oh my gosh ashton you were amazing! i didn't know you could play the drums!!" i was slightly squealing.
he giggled, "urm yea, i can play the drums a little so that's my post in the band."
"little." lulu scoffed.
"alright im going back to my apartment now, goodbye boys!"
after dinner, i decided to bake some vanilla cupcakes with colored buttercream frosting. i was also planning to bring some up to ash's apartment and thank him for showing me the cafe shop and eventually getting me a job.
"alright, all done." i smiled to myself as i finished pipping buttercream onto the last cupcake.
i placed them into a seal tight container, making sure the lid does not touch the buttercream frosting before heading out.
i knocked on the door. when ash opened the door, he was wearing a gray hoodie and some black sweatpants and he was scrubbing his damp hair with a towel. holy moly this boy just came outta the shower.
"oh hey syd, sorry i just came out of the shower so i wasn't really expecting anyone." he awkwardly said.
"oh sorry for interrupting your um after shower time. but can i come in? i have some things to tell you."
"sure." he smiled.
"here's a cup of hot chocolate, sorry i couldn't prepare anything else, the idiots are everything that i bought." he placed a warm cup of hot chocolate on the coffee table. we were now in his living room and he sat down beside me on the couch.
"so i got the job at the coffee shop and my first day, which was today went really really well. and it was all thanks to you because you were the one who brought me to the cafe and everyone is really friendly so basically without your help i wouldn't have gotten this amazing job. anyways, to thank you, i brought some homemade vanilla cupcakes with buttercream frosting for you." by the time i was done we were both smiling.
"syd, im so happy that you got the job and im happy to hear that everyone is being nice to you. im really proud of you syd." he said shyly.
"here let's eat!!" i gave him a cupcake and with one on my own hand too.
we both took a bite and i was looking at him, waiting to see his reaction.
"wow syd, you baked these? they're amazing! i love them, thank you syd."
i decided to be an absolute ass and i shoved my cupcake, with the frosting, right into ash's face. his face was now covered with frosting. his eyes widened.
"ooooh no you didn't syd. it's on!" he yelled and smashed his cupcake into my face.
the cupcake war was on. we were both throwing cupcakes at each other, both bodies covered in crumbs and frosting.
we were done with our cupcake war at 12:30 am. after we cleaned up we decided to watch a movie, which was Annabelle.
"hey ash, can we erm cuddle? i mean i like to cuddle when watching movies with more than one person. im sorry if this sounded weird. it's okay if you don't want to." i smiled at turned my attention back to the movie.
he gulped down and look at me back, "actually syd, i would love to cuddle."
we were now in each other's warm embrace. ash was laying down on the 'L' shaped couch and i was laying beside him, one of my legs were sprawled across his lap and one of his arms was wrapped around my shoulder.
"ash your body is really comfy." i said and snuggled deeper into his chest.
as he giggled, i could feel his chest vibrating, "thanks i guess."
before we knew it, we were both in deep slumber.
