-sydney's pov-
today after work, i decided to head down the beach that was just right beside my apartment. before heading out, i packed some egg mayonnaise and tuna sandwiches, some bottle of water and a beach towel. i didn't pack my bathing suit because i wasn't going to take a dip in the ocean, i was planning to just relax.
i went down to the beach and found my perfect spot to set up my own 'picnic'. i was in love with the scenery. the sun was slightly peeking out, so it wasn't too hot, the waves were rolling and crashing to each other gently. there were birds on different part of the beach, some eating some leftovers on the sand that was accidentally left behind.
"syd, is that you? hey guys, it's syd!!" i heard someone from afar shouting.
i turned behind to see mikey waving over to me. behind them were ash, lulu and cal.
i was stunned by their beautiful bodies. each of them were shirtless, only wearing some shorts. however, i couldn't take my eyes of ash, he was shirtless, only wearing a pair of denim shorts, he had his signature bandana wrapped around his head, with strands of his curly brown hair around the bandana. he was tan, i could see his muscles on his biceps even though we wasn't flexing and his toned torso with a slight hint of abs. gorgeous.
"hey guys!" i stood up and went to give each of them a hug.
"can we join you?" lulu said.
"sure, come here! i have a towel laid out and i brought sandwiches and water!"
we all sat on my tiny beach towel and started eating the sandwiches that i had made. it wasn't a lot though because i wasn't expecting anyone to be with me.
"hmm this tastes great! did you make it yourself?" cal asked.
"yeah i did, thanks cal. if it's that great you should eat somemore!" i smiled, handing him another sandwiches.
i only had one of my sandwiches because i was saving them so that the boys could have somemore. to be honest, i was starving a little bit.
i turned back down and saw a hand stuck out with a sandwich. i turned to the direction of the hand and saw ash smiling at me.
"syd, these are your sandwiches, you should eat more."
"aww thanks ash." i accepted it and looked back down, trying to hide my blush.
after we ate, the boys wanted to have a dip in the ocean.
"syd, we're going to take a dip in the ocean!!" lulu shouted and raced to the ocean with cal and mike.
"ash, don't you want to swim in the ocean with your friends too?" i asked him, he was sitting down beside me.
"well yeah... but then you would be alone." he said, scratching the back of his head.
"ashhhh, you know i wouldn't mind, go on, join your friends." i gave him a reassuring smile. he nodded and ran to the ocean.
i smiled at the sight of the four boys, splashing water at each other. they seriously had a really good friendship. i laid my head down on the towel and closed my eyes. hanging out with these boys really makes me tired and worn out.
suddenly, i felt myself being lifted up and i could hear laughter around me. i opened my eyes and saw mikey carrying me.
"mikey what are you doing? let me down!!" i said.
"wait and see." was all he said, winking.
i noticed he was carrying me nearer and nearer to the ocean.
"mike!!! no!! put me down!!! stop!!!" i shouted, wiggling my legs like a baby.
they all just laughed and continued.
"ash!! you're the kindest to me!! help!!!!"
"sorry syd, not this time." he laughed.
soon enough i felt myself being thrown into the ocean. we were now all in the ocean.
"mike!!!!" i shouted, taking a deep breath.
i decided to have some fun revenge on them.
"guys! guys help! i can't swim! guys!! im about to drown!!!" i shouted, waving my hands into the air, trying to sound as terrified as possible. for some more fun, i decided to pretend that i fainted. this will get ya, Clifford.
they all dragged me back to the ground, oh my, they were so stupid. they were arguing who could do cpr on me.
"let me do it!"
"no i know how to do cpr!"
"oh shut up, i do cpr everyday!!!"
"BOOO!" i shouted and they all were so scared and shocked.
"oh my gosh syd, were you just joking this whole time?" cal asked.
"of course HAHAHAHA, revenge is fun." i smirked to myself, dusting of the sand that was on me.
i suddenly noticed that my shirt became see through because it was soaking wet. my pink bra was now visible.
lulu was staring at it a little bit, so i decided to my one arm on my shoulder, trying to cover it without being too obvious.
luckily ash noticed what i was doing and he quickly grabbed my beach towel and draped in onto my shoulders. i gladly smiled at him.
"so uh... why don't we go back?" i asked, hoping that i could go back and change.
"sure, let's go!" they all said.
