"Hiccup," hissed Neeran. "Stay conscious. I'll see what I can do about the wound."Hiccup hissed Neeran looked at his wound, until a shadow was caste down into their cell.
"Who's there?"
"Shh," hissed the man who Neeran instantly recognised as the man from front gate from two days prior. "They can't know I'm here."
"Why're you here?" asked Neeran cautiously taking a few steps closer to the man.
"To give you this," he whispered showing her a packet that Neeran instantly recognised as bacta. "For Casimir."
"Bacta," said Neeran in astonishment. "How'd you get a hold of this? It's not cheap out here."
"I have a friend who gave it to me," replied the man. "And besides..."
His voice trailed off and Neeran looked at him to continue.
"There are some things more important than ones own life," said the man.
"What's your name?" asked Neeran cautiously, taking the bacta from him.
"Fennick," replied the man. "Fennick Saxon."
"Mandolorian?"
Fennick was surprised by what the female Jedi had instantly deduced from him by simply telling her his name.
"It's a Mandolorian clan isn't it?" asked Neeran again.
"Y-Yes, it is," replied Fennick.
"You don't look Mandolorian," said Neeran suddenly. "You have dark hair for starters. What other human species is mixed with your blood?"
Fennick was then really scared. Not many people could ever tell that he was Mandolorian just from his name, let alone his bodily features.
"How can you tell?"
"I've known many Mandolorians in my time," replied Neeran. "They are usually fair or slightly tanned skinned with blonde hair and blue eyes. I've met many with hazel eye and slightly dark blonde hair but very rarely have I seen any with other types of hair and skin colour. I'm not saying that they don't exsist, I have just almost never seen them."
Fennick didn't reply with anything and Neeran bowed her head and said,
"Thank you," said Neeran. "I'll look after him from here."
"Sorry I couldn't stop it from happening," said Fennick.
"That's okay," said Neeran moving over to where Hiccup was almost completely unconscious. "You were only doing your job."
Fennick watched as Neeran swiftly applied the bacta to Hiccup's blaster wound but knew that it would ultimately cause a scar on his left shin. Fennick then quietly slipped away back to his guard post and let his thoughts wander, trying to find a way to help the pair in the cell.
A few moments passed before the door slammed open and in came three people that Fennick knew could only mean trouble for anyone in the cells. Only the leader went straight for the cell that held the Grand Jedi Master Neeran.
"Not good," muttered Fennick.
"Assholes!" echoed down the hall from where Neeran was held.
"He stays," said Neeran. "I'll go."
The next moment, Fennick watched as the three of the took Neeran some place else.
'Watch over Hiccup for me, will you?' asked Neeran through a mind-link to Fennick.
'What?' thought Fennick looking around. 'Who?'
'Watch Casimir while I'm gone,' said Neeran. 'He should be waking up and feeling better soon. He'll need reassurance that he hasn't been abandoned. Can you do that?'
'Yes,' said Fennick, as Neeran disappeared around the corner with the other three men.
'Thank you.' came the reply before the messages seemed to just simply end.
Fennick couldn't believe or understand what was going on but was going to for fill his promise the strange Jedi.
