"Masters," greeted Neeran, though there was no need to as she and her team mates were all technically 'Grand Masters' by Jedi standards, but with what they were about to do, it was probably wiser to show respect now than later.
As an added bonus, many of the members of the Council didn't actually know how old they were or that they were Grand Jedi Masters, which the team quite liked as it gave them more freedom to move around as they wished throughout the galaxy.
"We've have something that needs to be discussed.""With what you have to discuss, not be present, should your Padawans," said Master Yoda.
"They stay," cut in Neeran, something telling her that they had to hear what was going to be said, as their six Padawans began to bow and move away. "They can hear this to."Hiccup looked cautiously at Neeran out of the corner of his eye, knowing that something bad must be going on in order for Neeran to use that tone of voice.
She sounded very angry, but Hiccup couldn't tell what was making her so angry.
She certainly hadn't sounded that angry earlier...
<A few hours earlier...>
Neeran had hidden the Holocron that they were going to show the Jedi Council in her purple backpack as she and her team searched for their six Padawans.
They found them meandering down one of the halls, still in an animated conversation with each other's adventures.
"What the hell have you guys been doing these last three years?" asked Neeran, watching them.
"I think we can ask you the same question," said Jyuo, watching Neeran's Padawan in particular.
"Master!" exclaimed all six of them at the same time when they noticed them standing there much to the others surprise.Neeran, Zach, Jyuo, Coattra, Galleion, Bronnick and Harron all burst out laughing at their Padawans surprise that they hadn't known about their Masters connection to each other.
"Oh, that's a classic!" exclaimed Harron. "I thought we told you all that we had strange friends?"
"But I didn't think that your 'strange friends' were the main characters from the 'Tales of the Old Jedaii.', Master," said Zanbique.
"Well," said Bronnick with a huge smile plastered across his face, shrugging. "Now you know.""Did you need us for something?" asked Ashao-Tika, seeing that their Masters had been looking for them.
"She's smart," nodded Neeran glancing meaningfully along at Galleion.
"Yes, we were looking for you all.""What for?" asked Kit Sa'runelko, having always been very curious. "We don't have a mission do we?"
"Not the kind you're thinking of," said Coattra. "We need you all to come with us to the Jedi Council.""Why the Council?" asked En'urul.
"Why do they want us?" asked Zanbique.
"We haven't done anything wrong," started Januix. "Right?""Not you guys, no," said Neeran. "But with what we have to talk to them about, you all need to be there to hear."
<Present time. In front of the Jedi Council...>
"They can stay then," said Master Windu. "What was so important that you had to summon the entire Council to hear you out?"
Something was telling Neeran not to trust the Council as much as she normally did, as she removed her backpack and pulled out the Holocron within it.
