Chapter 1: Another day, another friend?

///Kacy's P.O.V.///
As usual, I was alone eating lunch. On the first day of school. In the lunch tables, in the University.
Except, today was different. I actually talked to someone. If you consider saying "Hi," to someone that didn't talk back.

Oh, yeah. Haven't introduced myself yet. The name's Kacy. Kacy Robinson. I'm 18 years old, second year college. To some people I am a genius and super awesome. To most, they say I'm simply a NERD. Sure, I love science and math and physics and chemistry, but I also LOVE fashion. But I don't express it too much. Today I'm simply wearing a blue and white striped t-shirt and some skinny jeans.
Anyway, back to whatever I was saying.

I ate alone, in silence until. I heard a voice.
"Hi," someone said.
I turned around, there were two guys in front of me. One was what it looks like a guitarist, and the other a jock.
I didn't say anything, why would those two guys talk to me? I'm alone, a 'nerd' and a science lover, their just jerks.
"Hello? Anybody there?" The jock said.
"Josh!" The guitarist whispered aloud to the jock.
"What? I was just--"
"I'm sorry but are you talking to me?" I said.
"Yeah!" They said.
"Why?"
" 'Cause, you looked, alone, and we wanted to say hi. And--" the guitarist said.
"--And we wanted to invite you to our party!" Josh said. Handing me a flyer.
"Ummm, thanks? But why did you invite me?" I said.
"Because, I would guess that have been in this school for 2 years in a row and so have we. I've seen you around school last year and you were pretty cool with that chemistry, lab, thing." The guitarist said.
"I think it's called Science. Cameron." Josh said.
"Yeah, whatever. Anyway, are 'ya coming?" Cameron asked me.
"Depends, what should i wear?" I asked.
"I guess, whatever you want. Right Cam?" Josh said.
"Thats right. And the party is at the outdoor auditorium and it starts at 8 p.m. So, will we see you there?" Cameron said.
"Hmmm, I'll think about it. But I guess you'll get your answer at the party." I said.
"Ahh. Mysterious. I like you." Josh said.
"Me too." Cameron said.
"Well I guess we'll get our answer there then." Josh said.
"See 'ya!" Cameron said."WAIT. We told you our names--"
"No you didn't." I said.
"--oh well then, I'm Cameron. I play the guitar--" he said.
"I can see that," I said.
--and I'm Josh. I like sports" Josh said.
"Really?" I said sarcastically.
"--we told you OUR names. Whats YOURS?" Cameron asked.
"Oh, that's right. The name's Kacy." I said.
"Nice meeting you, Kacy." Cameron said.
"Well, we're on our way." Josh said.

And that, is how I made my first friends-to-be. See you at the party.
