"Is she awake now?" I heard a voice asking. I couldn't make out who it was. I was still slightly unconscious. Then it all hit me. I had been punched in the head.
"I don't know. What are we gonna do with her? Just leave her here?" another voice asked, sounding a little worried.
"No duh Sherlock! We can't take this piece of garbage with us. She's no use to us anymore."
"Okay, let me just get the-"
and then i fell back into unconsciousness.
*2 hours later*
I was woken up by someone shaking me and yelling, "hey girl, wake up! Come on, you're okay."
I slowly opened my gray eyes and was face to face with a boy. He had a worried look in his chocolate brown eyes and a frown on his face. When I looked at him he sighed in....relief? Who would be relieved that I was okay?
I realized he was holding onto me and I immediately tensed up and pushed myself off of him. He looked at me, confused, and hurt flashed across his face.
"I was just trying to help." He muttered under his breath.
I just nodded, which I shouldn't have done, because I then had a killer headache.
He must have seen my discomfort, because he came up to me with his hands out and said, "Let's get you to a hospital."
I nodded and let him pick me up.
He smiled at me and said, "I guess i'm your savior eh?"
and for the first time in years.......I smiled.
