~7 Years Later~

"Here gus gus" Katniss feeds her mice friends in the fields, Katniss never made friends, her house is the only one around the place, other houses are about twenty five minutes away and her father travels all the time now, it's usually just Katniss and her mother at home every now and again

"It'll make all of you big and strong" she smiles and they twitch their noses in the air

"Katniss!" Her father has returned once again from his trip! She sprints and jumps into her fathers arms

"Look what I got you" all she hears is a squick, Katniss smiles seeing a small pink pig

"Daddy! I love it!" She holds her new pet in her arms

"What are you gonna name him?" He asks, she thinks for a moment and smiles

"Pot" her father kisses the top of her head and she goes into the barn finding a place to put her new pet.

Like usual young Peeta turns down every time a princess comes over, he turns them down because they don't have the things he wants, confidence, love, kind and courage, he was also too young to have interest in the love thing.
