*Oyasumi~ 'Good Night' in Japanese.

"Luce..." I whine, "I don't get it!" I huff. I tap my pencil on the page, making up a random beat.

"What don't you get?" Lucy asks exasperatedly, walking over to me.

"Look, if 'x' is 50 then why is the answer 89?" I state.

I stare at the problem, any minute I think my head is going to explode. Lucy gives a sigh.

"Then maybe, you got the 'y' wrong." She states, taking a peek from my homework. "You definitely got the 'y' wrong." She adds as she looks away from my homework and stares at her own.

I tap my pencil on my head, trying to let me remember something that can help me in some way.

"How are we going to make a 15-sentence essay with these two paragraphs only!" Lucy complains, throwing her hands up in the air.

"Looks like I'm not the only one who is whining about their homework." I smirk.

"But look! This cannot be enough information for a 15-sentence essay! Miss Porlyusica's torturing me!" She says.

I look at the two paragraphs, she was talking about. It is true, there were only like 5 sentences in each paragraph and the information wasn't enough.

"Porlyusica hates people. I'm sure that's why she gave you a homework like this." I state to her.

"But it's unfair!" She complains.

I grab her laptop, on a far away table, and place it beside her. "Just research on it. It will give you more than enough information than you need."

Her eyes brighten up on the idea, "Oh yeah! Why didn't I think of that?"

"Because you're dumb." I say to her.

She pouts and crosses her arms, "Hey!"

I chuckle. She wraps her arms around my waist, "Anyways, Arigatou Natsu! You're the best!"

For some reason, I feel my face heat up. We have hugged eachother many times before but this is the first time I felt my face heat up.

'Maybe it's just my body temperature. I do have a really warm body temperature after all.' I thought and shrug it off

She unwraps her arms and gives me a warm smile and goes back too her work.

I stare at my soulmate countdown watch. I still got 6 months and a couple of days, hours and minutes. I sigh.

'I wonder if it actually works?'

I mean I could end up with someone I don't like and once I get betrothed to her there is no turning back. That's the rule when you have a soulmate watch. It would be a waste of money and time just ending up like that.

I turn my head to Lucy, to ask how much time she has got left on her watch. I look just to see her sleeping on her arms, which she made into resting place, her book is open and the laptop is also left open.
