I was in the library doing my Math homework. This is so easy! Man, even sixth graders know this...

Once I was done, I quickly kept my things and left. I once again, for the fourth time today, bumped into Erza.

'What is wrong with me today?' I asked myself.

"Hey Jellal," Erza geeted and walked on.

"Why do we keep bumping into each other?" I mumbled to myself.

I walked to my locker and stuffed my things inside. I grabbed the books for the first subject in the morning. I checked my scarlet watch. I sighed in frustration. I still had a five months to meet my soulmate. It was weird. How do people know who is with who?

I left the building and walked home. It wasn't far from school so I didn't need to take the bus. Once I got home I put my stuff on the couch and cooked my food. It wasn't much, just ramen.

I quickly ate it and dragged myself to bed.

Before I sat, my watch started beeping. Shoot! Who made my watch beep? Could it be... Nevermind! I thought to myself. I shook it off and went to sleep.

The next morning, I took a bath and ate. I grabbed my bag from the couch and headed to school. I saw Natsu, Lucy, and Gray walked by.

'Wait, if they're here, then Erza must be...' I thought.

Erza walked up to them. I stared at her and felt my cheeks burn up. She looked at me and her cheeks turned red.

Lucy nudged Erza and she looked away. I left in hurry to school, hiding my blushing face.

I hurried into the classroom and took my seat. I'm done for! We have the same classes for the whole day! What's worse than that? Our homeroom teacher shifted the seating arrangement so I'm sitting near Erza!

I sighed as Erza walked into the classroom, she's strict, but I know inside, she's kind and caring. Wait, what? What the hell am I thinking?

The bell rang and Sir Gildarts walked in. I slouched in my seat and listened to the lesson. What a pain! Just sitting here when I could do anything at home! I can make my own excuse too! I sighed at the thought. It was true, I could skip classes! I could just read the books and, done! I know the lesson. However, for whatever reason, something drags me to school.

I guess that reason is to find my soulmate. For all I know, the person who I bought the watch from told me it was from my school. So I guess that's what drags me to school.

"Jellal and Erza. You two are partners for the project due next Friday." Sir Gildarts announced.

I gaped at the announcement, then I turned to Erza, who was staring at me. She had the same expression as me. Why does she have to be my partner? We haven't had a proper conversation since the Tower of Heaven. Why her? Why me? I thought over and over again.

The bell fortunately rang, and I ran out of the room as quick as possible to my locker. I breathed heavily as I opened it. I put my books for first period inside and got the things for second period. Boy, this will be a long day...

The bell rang for dismissal and I jogged out of class to the library. I promised to meet Erza inside. I entered the book-filled place and saw Levy helping the librarian's assistant, Mirajane Strauss, put the books on the shelves.

"Have you seen Erza?" I questioned the girls.

"She's at the back." Levy replied.

"Why are you looking for the SC President, Fernandez? Going to ask her out on a date are you?" Mirajane teased.

"No!" I quickly replied, "We have a project together, that's it."

"Aw, that's sad, but tell me if you'll ask her out!" She waved as I walked off. Man, she's weird.

"You're late Fernandez!" A certain red haired girl said as I approached.

"We didn't plan what time this would be, so, I'm not late." I replied to her statement.

"True, so, what should we do?" She inquired.

I explained my plan, and she explained her's. In the end, we combined our plans. It was already past five when we left the library.

Once I got home I ate and took a quick shower, then went in to a long lasting sleep.
