Chapter 14

"Tsk." I clicked my tongue in annoyance. Every few minutes my right wrist would burn in pain since this morning.

I never checked if there was anything wrong yet because I thought it will be just a few hours pain.

"Copy down what I write in the board." Miss Laki ordered the class as she grabs the chalk.

I try reaching for my pen but my there was too much pain in my wrist that I can barely move it.

Guess I got to really go to the clinic.

I raised my left hand. Thank goodness that Miss Laki had to grab the eraser that was left on the table so she would have seen me.

"Yes, Juvia?" She pointed at me.

"May Juvia go to the clinic? My wrist hurts."

Miss Laki nodded in approvement. Then I dashed outside. As soon as I was far enough away from the classroom, I turned my right wrist to see what's going on.

There I see, words inked like a tattoo in cursive form. 'I'm sorry' was the phrase on my wrist.

I rushed to the clinic. I rushed because of fear and curiosity.

I arrived in a few minutes and I called for the nurse. Right now the pain had increased.

The nurse came and asked me what's wrong. I told her about my situation and I showed her my right wrist.

She left and came back with some liquid and she poured a few drops on the words. She then gave me a over-sized blue sweater that could cover my wrist.

"Ano. Juvia is wondering why the nurse had gave her an over-sized blue sweater." I told the the nurse.

"The inked phrase on you're wrist. That's the first phrase that you're soul mate will say to you after you're time is up." The nurse explained.

"But why does Juvia need a blue sweater and why is the phrase needed if it isn't going to give any more clues on who is Juvia's soul mate?"

"Safety Precautions. People who like you can be able to prove that they're your soul mate if you and him see eachother after you're watch runs out of time.

"Oh... Arigatou!" I run out to the hallway and looked at my watch.

10 seconds.

I ran, going back to the classroom. On the way, someone bumped me and I fell.

"I'm sorry." I looked up to see Gray extending his arm to me.

"Ano... Arigatou." I blush as I remember the phrase.

I breathed in heavily.

"Are you Juvia's/my soulmate?" Gray and I ask in unison.

I show him my wrist and he shows me his. I stare in amazement.

"Gray-sama..." I mutter and blush heavily.

"Juvia... Aishiteru." He says and kissed me on the lips.

His eyes were closed and I did the same, wrapping my arms around his neck as he did with his around my waist.

I'm happy. I'm with the man I love the most.
