A Happy Day

-Niall's P.O.V-

I walked into my flat, and dumped my bag on the couch. "I'm home!" I yelled.

"In the kitchen sweetheart!" I heard Mum yell. I walked into the kitchen. Greg and Mum were all chatting.

"How was school, baby?" Mum asked.

"Great. We had a test today in Chemistry." I said and grabbed an apple.

"Are you going anywhere?" Greg asked. I nodded and bit into my apple. I chewed then answered her.

"To Harry's flat. I'm meeting up with the rest of the gang." I said. He smiled and looked up from his papers.

"You all are spending a lot of time together." He said. I shrugged and nodded. We were, to be honest.

"I'm glad you are all hanging out again. You looking awful lonely the past two years." Mum said.

"Well I missed them. I'll be back for dinner. Love you." I said then jogged out of the kitchen.

-Louis' P.O.V-

I turned on the dishwasher when my phone rang. I picked it up and answered it.

"Hello?" I asked.

"I need you to come into work today. Tyler is out sick and I need you to cover his shift." My boss, Carter, said. I groaned.

"Okay. I'll be there soon." I said. I knew I needed the money, so I had to. I hung up and tossed my phone onto the counter. Mum walked in, smiling wide.

"I have some great news Lou." She said. I turned to face her and cocked an eyebrow. "I got a promotion at work. I'm getting paid 3 times as much as I used to." A grin broke out on my face.

"Mum, that's amazing! I'm really happy for you!" I wrapped her in a hug. We both pulled away.

"I already told your sisters. We're going out to dinner tonight to celebrate, so you can't spend the night at Harry's. Tomorrow night you can. Oh, and quit that waiter job you have at Nandos." She smiled then walked out. I pumped my fists in the air, and let out a small cheer. Lottie and Fizzy both walked in.

"Why are you looking more weird then usual?" Lottie teased. I ruffled her hair, just to annoy my teenage sister.

"Mum got a promotion, so we are all going out to eat tonight. So wear something nice." I said. Fizzy's face lit up.

"She got a promotion?! That's great! Now you don't have to work anymore, Lou!" She exclaimed. Only Lottie and her knew about our money problems. The twins were to young to know.

"Well, I'm going to work from time to time to help bring in some money, but I will definitely be home more to play with you girls." I said. Phoebe and Fizzy ran in.

"Lou! You said you'd help us with our homework!" Phoebe whined. Oh, dammit.

"I did, didn't I? Ugh, I'm so sorry Phoebe. I promise the guys and Ali I'd come over. Can Lottie help you?" I asked, sending a pleading look to Lottie.

"How about we come with you? I want to see Niall again!" Daisy exclaimed. I chuckled. Daisy loved Niall.

"Hey! We want to come too! I haven't seen Ali in ages and It's good to talk to a girl around my age besides Fiz." Lottie said. I grinned evilly.

"Let's surprise the others, shall we? Go get your shoes girls, I'm taking you to Harry's flat." I said and they cheered and ran out.

"MUM! I'M TAKING THE GIRLS! BE HOME BEFORE DINNER!" I yelled and grabbed my keys and phone. I ushered all four girls out of the flat.
