"Open your eyes"
She opened her eyes as her mother said.
"How did you feel?"her mother asked. She was sort of astonished. It was different.
"Amazing!"the little girl answered with her eyes sparkling.
"So, you got your answer didn't you?"her mother said. The little girl's eyes widened.
"Is that really what happines looks like?"she asked. Her mother smiled sadly.
"Yes my dear. What you've just seen was the happines. But don't forget, there is no happines in real life. As you can see, happines only exists in your dreams."
"But why?"little girl asked.
Her mother rubbed her five-year old daughter's hair.
"Because my child, there will always be people who are going to take the happines from you when you think you find it."
"But mum, you're not going to let them do this, are you?"little girl asked in fear.
"No my dear. As long as I live, no one can ever take it from you." Her mother's big blue eyes filled with tears however she wiped them away.
"But you and your sister are going to be strong women. Even stronger than me. You're going to learn how to fight against...against..."she stopped.
"Against what mum?"
"Ah, against evil let's say. But don't worry my child, you're going to understand what I'm saying, in time."
"Mum, please don't ever leave me. I don't want you or daddy or my sister to leave me. I don't want to be alone. I'm afraid when I'm alone."she said in fear and embraced her mother tightly.
"My beautiful girl, please don't think of these right now. We're not going to leave you."her mother hugged her tightly. "Now, young lady, time for sleep. I need to go to your sister."mother said.
"Mum Bell is old enough to sleep without you but I'm not, please stay here, I'm afraid. I want my old room back. I want to stay with my sister again please!"she begged, crying.
"I understand you dear, this is your first night alone in your new room. But you have to get use to it. Also Bell, has to get use to it. For now just remember what I said before."
"But mum, Bell is older than me. She even can read 'The beauty and the beast',without help!"
"You're going to learn how to read my dear, be pacient. Now my little baby good night."her mother stood up kissing her daughter's forehead gently.
"Mum"
Her mother stopped at the doorstep, her right hand on the off switch.
"Yes my dear?"
"Don't switch the light off."she said nearly begging.
"I have to."
"Please mum, don't do this. I'm afraid. I'm so afraid of the darkness!"she yelled.
"Remember what we've just done. Close your eyes. Think of a green meadow. Think of a beautiful palace. Think of yourself in that palace, wearing a beautiful gown and a mask-don't forget the mask because it's your biggest gun against people ,you know why-and there is no king or prince because you are the queen. You rule everything, even the darkness, even the lonelines. You rule everything. You are the beautiful queen in mask. Queen of the light and the ruler of the darkness. Oh, and don't forget to sing your favorite song"
Her daughter was dreaming all of this now. Her eyes were closed and a smile appeared on her  face.
"There you are my clever girl."
The little girl was now humming her favorite song.
"I know one day you will become everything that you're dreaming now. And one day you will be stronger than me."
Her little daughter didn't hear her last words because she had already gone to dreamworld.
Her mother switch the light off.
"You promised me mother."her voice echoed in the empty cemetary. It was late at night. Almost midnight.
"But you didn't keep your promise. You left me!"she shouted at the black gravestone.
"What about you dad? We were going to have a duet with you in my wedding. You also promised me!"she yelled with tears in her cold eyes, at the other gravestone.
She turned the third and last gravestone.
"And you sis? You were going to be with me forever. You promised me to never leave me!"
She bursted into tears. It was so hard for her. She felt so alone. Once a year on this very day, she would remember her true identity. She would remember who she was before...the incident.
"But here I am, standing in front of you as the ruler of the darknes. Just as I promised you mum. You couldn't keep your's but I did. But there is one thing I haven't done yet. I've been waiting for the right time to take my revenge and the time has come. I promise you I'm going to make them pay what they had done. I promise you. And afterwards, we'll be back together. As soon as I finish my job I'll join you. I love you. I...love you more than everything. Please..."she couldn't finish. She started to sobb. Those feelings...Her mask was unable to keep them inside now.
"I missed you. I'm missing you everyday. I love you."she said whispering. She lost all her strength to talk. Her heart was aching. There was nothing on earth to make her feel better except being the woman in mask. This was the only time she would feel nothing but strong.
"I have to go now. I love you."she said and left the three bouqets of flowers to the each gravestone.
She then turned back and slipped into the darknes of the night.
And on the gravestones, the silver family name sparkled with the crimson roses. The family name was none other than "Eveleigh"
