Sherlock tried to open the door. But he failed. The door was locked from the outside.
"Open the door!"he shouted to her.
No response came. He punched the door.
"I SAID OPEN THE DOOR!"he shouted louder this time. It was 2.05 am and he felt an uneasy feeling inside him.
"COME HERE AND OPEN THE DOOR!"he shouted again, far too much exasperated. She betrayed him. How could she?!It was mostly his fault, though. He had let his sentiments get better on him and now he was locked inside a room. I had bloody trusted you.
Even he himself didn't know why he trusted her. There was no reason to trust her at all! He blamed himself. What had gotten in you Sherlock?! He thought. How could a woman manage to deceive him like this?
Chemical defect. He thought. Nothing more. He knew what he was going to do once he could manage to go out. He would definately going to arrest her and do everything for her to put in the prison. The place where she had to be in the first place.
He walked inside the room. He tried to find a way for escaping. He looked at the window. It was locked too and there is no way to shatter that carbon glass unless he had a diamond.
Suddenly it hit his mind. He was in Veronica Millstone's room. He could, of course, find a diamond.

He quickly started to search the drawers. Where were her jewelleries?
He heard a loud voice coming from the outside. As if someone was struggling. But at the moment, he really didn't care.
His phone buzzed in silence mode. John was calling.
He hung up the phone.
"Sherlock where are you?! Why are you ignoring me?!"
John's worried and angry voice was heard.
"I'm on a case John."he answered.
"I'm coming, are you at Millstone's?"he asked.
Meanwhile Sherlock was still searching the drawers and suddenly he found a box. He opened to look at what's inside it and...oh...
"Sherlock? Are you there? I'm in front of the garden door, coming inside."
Sherlock couldn't reply for a moment. He was staring at what he had just seen. He froze.
"John, do not come inside! Go back!"he warned his friend.
"No, I'm coming in. Sherlock what's going on?!"
The bomb's counter was ticking. 59,58,57...
"I'm in Veronica's room. I have to go out!"he shouted.
"What's going on Sherlock?"John asked in worry again.
"John, listen to me, go far away from here. Please. Do not come inside. I'm locked in. There is no way out."his friend's shaky tone hit him.
"Sherlock are you ok?"he asked in fear. "What the bloody hell is going on?!"
"Do not come in..."

"SHERLOCK!"
Everything went black.

When John came to his senses, he saw two paramedics coming towards him. He must have been effected by the explosion.
Dizziness came over him when he tried to get up. His ears were ringing. He couldn't hear properly.
"Sir are you ok?"
He heard the paramedic's worried voice. As if it was coming far, far away from him.
"Can you hear me sir?"the same paramedic asked again.
John couldn't answer. He was still trying to gain his senses, his control.
He straightened up to see dozens of police cars and fire engines.
Finally it hit him. The explosion. The phone call. Sherlock.
He suddenly found a weird strenght to get up. He stumbled but quickly he gained his balance.
"I'm ok." He said and quickly walked towards the closest police car. He leaned it and saw the whole manor was burning. Fire department was trying to extinguish the fire but they were clearly having difficulty.
"John!"he heard a familiar voice behind him.
"Greg!"he turned to see DI Lestrade coming towards him.
"Hey are you ok?"he asked in worry. John nodded.
"Where is Sherlock?"John asked nervously. Lestrade seemed confused.
"I don't know. Was he with you?"he asked in confusion.
John's eyed widened, filled with terror. Suddenly he filled with dread.
"HE WAS INSIDE!"he shouted, not caring his voice came out too loud.
Lestrade was shocked. He froze. He was petrified for a moment.
"What?!"
"I was talking yo him on the phone then it happened."John explained quickly.
"Everyone listen to me!"Lestrade shouted, turning to the other police officers and members of the fire department. "There is a man inside. Do not come unless you find him. IT IS AN EMERGENCY!"
Everyone looked at each other in horror. How could someone be inside? Even if he could, there was no chance to live.
"I'm going in."John said, happen to move but Leatrade caught his arm.
"Are you out of your mind?!"
John struggled against him but he was weak because of the impact.
"I'm not going to leave him inside!"John insisted. He was filled with pure worry and fear.
"John, there is nothing you or me can do."Lestrade said, sorry. John knew he was right but he still wanted to get inside and save his best friend.

It all went too quickly. He couldn't even scream when it exploded.
He was thrown away towards the wall. He hit his head. And he felt something very heavy on him. It was a metal plate. There were still parts of the walls falling over him.
He couldn't breathe. Every part of his body was aching.
He saw the room lightened.
A fire had started. The explosion must have effected the electricity lines.Everything was burning. He couldn't see anything.
He desperately tried to shout but he couldn't. He couldn't feel his lungs. He was pinned to the floor and he was becoming more and more dizzy. His conscious was leaving him. He couldn't breathe. He was drowning.
His eyelids became heavy. He felt hot. The flames were everywhere.
Breathing was impossible. And, his lungs gave up breathing. His mind gave up working. His body was shutting down.
His hands fell to his sides slowly. His pulse was becoming slower. His lungs were burning with every painful breathe.
He slowed down his breathing. There was no need to breathe. His heart rate slowed down. There was no need for it to beat.
His mind was working no longer. He couldn't think of anything.
He was slipping away.
He wasn't feeling anything. Neither the horrific amount of blood floating on his face, nor all the pain.
He gave up and started to close his eyes. How heavy his eyelids were!
All of a sudden, he saw something approaching him. Someone was coming towards him.
He had seconds left before going unconscious. His vision was very blurred but he was able to see who was coming towards him. He saw that familiar thing in the flames. He saw the mask. The white shining mask. And he saw her. She was coming towards him.
But what for?
He didn't care. He didn't question because he had already felt the darkness covering him like a blanket. And he embraced it, tightly.
He felt her delicate finger's soft touch on his face. It gave him peace. It comforted him. He wanted to look at her, he wanted to open his eyes but the pain he was feeling, was too much. He had no strength, not at all.
And he let the blanket cover him...
