I haven't gotten a letter from Nathan in a long time, so when I woke up and saw a closed envelope on my chair a smile appeared on my face. I quickly dressed into my uniform and grabbed the letter.

"Dear Alivia,

So much has been going on and that is why I haven't been writing lately. Some soldiers of mine have been killed by the standers, they found our hidden base so we are now packing our belongings and moving to a different location. Thankfully most of us survived the attack. The standers don't know the amount of rebels there are and our other hiding places, so they think the attack went well but they managed to kill not so many as they believe, although every murder is a big loss for us. I hope to find time and write more to you. I understood that Cole has been training you, that is good, I heard you are good. I am proud little sister, keep fighting, we will meet soon.

Love,

Nathan"

On my way to work I burned the letter as I always do when I finish reading it. When I get back home I will make time to write him back.

..................

I was playing with one of the girls in the nursery with expensive Barbie's, last time I remember having one was when I was three. A year after the standers took control; they invaded our home and threw a lot of our belongings, including my Barbie. I laughed with the girl while she made her Barbie eat and then put her to bed at her big Barbie house.

I felt a hand clasp my shoulder I looked behind me to see the Head teacher of the nursery. Her face looked sad..... Something was wrong.... Very wrong.

I stroked the girls head and left her to play alone. I walked out of the classroom with the head teacher.

"Whats going on?" I asked

She put one hand on her face, covering her eyes and shook her head.

"What?" I let out a chuckle thinking it can't be that bad and pulled her hand away from her face.

"I... I need you to go to the main gates..... they ordered me to send you"

I nodded not really understanding. She then pulled me into a hug and whispered in to my ear.

"I am so sorry my child" she then let me go and walked back in the classroom.

I gathered my coat and made my way to the main gates.

I was almost there when I felt two different sets of had clasp my arms. I looked to my sides to see two soldiers. One of them was the one who tried to touch me a month ago... I don't understand? He smirked at me and then looked away.

"We are here to assist you" one of them said. I didn't ask them any questions and let them guide me to the main gates.

From far a could see a lot of people gathering around, I didn't understand, why was I needed here. When we got closer I could see three soldiers holding a gun at someone I couldn't recognize from this far. We then got even closer, a shudder went through my body as recognized the woman that was with her face against the wall and her had up..... it was my Mother.

I stopped in place, shocked. The two soldiers roughened their grip on me and dragged me towards her.

NO NO NO NO NO!!! This could not be happening! Why was my Mother being treated like this, she is innocent, she never did anything wrong. They stopped when I was standing next to the soldiers pointing the gun.
