Edgar saw his brother disappear into the distance, again and again.
"Sabin!" Edgar woke up screaming his brother's name.
A servant ran into his room. "My Liege, is everything alright?"
Edgar looked at the servant and said: "Yeah I am fine, how are the modifications going?"
Edgar decided to use his mechanical engineering skills to turn the castle into his playground.
The servant replied: "Good My Liege, the self-defense mechanism is almost ready just as the traveling system"
Edgar got a smile on his face but his stomach was protesting.
Edgar said: "Uhm servant, can you tell the kitchen to prepare my breakfast?"
"Of course My Liege!" And the servant ran off. A Royal Guard appeared with a message that someone wearing a bandana was at the gates.
Edgar knew that Locke visited him often and said: "Aah good let him in, he is a friend of mine"
Edgar got dressed and went to the dining room where his friend was waiting. Locke turned around and said: "Ah Edgar, how is the life of a king?" It was Locke, a "thief" that prefers the title Adventurer. He is kind-hearted and got his sworn code to help every woman in distress.
Edgar looked a bit sad and said: "Quiet without Sabin now"
"Yeah, where is our fighter?" Locke looked around but saw the sadness in Edgar's eyes...
Edgar replied: "He went away a week ago, after our father died..." He had trouble holding his tears with the thought of his dad and Sabin.
"Hey now, kings don't cry" Locke sat across Edgar with a smile.
"Yeah, you're right" Edgar pushed the thought out of his head and looked up. "How is your search for the legendary treasure going?"
Locke looked away with some pain in his eyes "Still no clue or whatsoever..."
Edgar put some bread in his mouth as he made a disappointed sound, when he cleared his mouth of food, he said: "Oh well, guess you need to go now huh?" Locke pushed his chair back and said: "Yeah, well catch you around Edgar!" Edgar looked with a smile and replied: "Stay out of the hands of The Gesthalian Empire" Locke laughed and reassured Edgar: "Don't worry!" Locke ran out of Figaro Castle and Edgar ate alone, thinking about his brother: "Damn Sabin... I miss you..."
