Chapter Six.

Jess's POV
I have been sitting in the hotel room sobbing all night. When we were about to leave to meet the guys, I tripped on the stairs and hurt my ankle. I yelled for Elli and Matt, but apparently they were both to interested in each other so much that they didn't hear me. I checked my Instagram and saw that Cameron Dallas had posted a new video. I pressed play and there was Elli, standing on the stage freaking out. Then all the guys started laughing, and she blocked her face with her hands. "Ahhhhh!!!!" I screamed in anger and threw my phone at the wall. Oops.
Shawn's POV
I heard a loud slam coming from the room next to mine and I sprang up and ran to the door. I knocked really loud and yelled, "is everything alright in there?" Silence. Then a small girl opened the door and stared. "OhmyGod! You're Shawn Mendes!" "You're not the first person that's reacted like that today." I said. "Oh. Elli?" She asked. "How did you know?" I was so confused. "I'm Jess, the friend who came with her. Hey, can I get a selfie with you?" She asked. "Of course!" I said, leaning in. "This is a dumb question, but can we kiss for the picture?" She looked embarrassed. "Yeah! I do it all the time!" She smiled and I pecked her lips while she snapped the picture. "Thanks!" She said. She hugged me and then shut the door.
Jess's POV
Maybe if I post the picture of me and Shawn on Instagram, she'll pay more attention to me.
Elli's POV
I heard my phone buzz while we were in Rue 21, and I checked it. Jess posted a picture on Instagram. Where is Jess? I hadn't thought about that. When I saw the picture closer up, I sucked in my breath. She was kissing Shawn. The Shawn Mendes that I've loved my whole life. Well maybe if she's gonna do that, I'll do this. I marched over to Cam, held my phone up, and pecked his lips. He looked shocked, then he laughed. I laughed too. "It was just for a selfie." He nodded and continued looking at crop tops for me to try on. I hit post, and put my phone back in my pocket.
