Elli's POV
I can't believe Jess would so that to me. She knows I've loved Shawn since 8th grade. Whatever, I need to stop thinking about this. That's when my phone buzzed again. I checked it. Jess texted me. "Hey! What're you doing? Me and Shawn are at Olive Garden!"
I scowled at the screen. Then I got an idea. "Hey guys! I'm hungry! Let's get food!" I growled. They all agreed and asked me where I wanted to go. "I pretended to think about for a minute. "Olive Garden!" I said. They wanted to go to In-And-Out Burger, but I refused. We finally pulled into the parking lot and walked in. I told the boys that I was going to the bathroom but I was really searching for Shawn and Jess. Had they already left? That's when I saw Shawn walk in the door. He smiled when he saw me, and I walked up to him. "Where's Jess?" I asked snottily. "What do you mean?" "I saw the picture of you guys kissing, and she told me that you guys were on a date here." I said. "Umm, I've only met her once, and I pecked her lips for a selfie." He said. "I don't know why you would be getting upset though." I stopped breathing at that minute. "I-I don't, I was just uh, just, uh," he smiled and walked past me. I walked back to the table and saw that he took the empty seat by Nash, right across from me. I was sitting in between Cam and Matt, and they kept smashing together saying, "Elli sandwich!" And then we would all laugh. I could tell that Shawn was holding himself back from telling the guys that I got upset when I thought he had a girlfriend. I blushed when he looked at me. "Hey guys, I gotta talk to Elli in private for a minute." He said standing up. He pulled me with him to the parking lot. "Make it quick Shawn, it's freezing." I said. He took his jacket off and wrapped it around me. "Thanks." I said. That's when he did something that I would've never expected. He leaned in closer, and closer, and closer. Then our lips connected and a million sparks flew through my body. He stepped back and smirked. I smiled at him and hugged him so tight that he probably couldn't breathe. "Let's go back in, I'm hungry and I want my lasagna!" He said. I laughed and intertwined our fingers as we walked back into the restaurant.
