Chapter Twelve.

Elli's POV
I woke up in my bed at the hotel, not sure how I got here. The last thing I remember was being trapped at Magcon with Matt. I looked over to Matt's bed and saw Jess fast asleep. She leaves today, back to Colorado. I can't wait. She's really been ticking me off lately, and she isn't acting like a best friend should. I got up and headed to the bathroom after grabbing fresh clothes. I hopped into the shower and felt the warm water gently hitting my body. I was sort of nervous to see Matt today after his meltdown. After 45 minutes, I climbed out and put on my clothes. I wore a bikini under my red Magcon hoodie and jeans. Shawn and I were planning to go to the pool in the hotel right after Magcon. As soon as I got out of the bathroom, Jess glared at me. "You took long enough." I rolled my eyes and walked past her, grabbing my makeup bag. After she came out of the bathroom, I walked back in and covered my face in foundation. Then I put on eyeliner and mascara. I grabbed my purse and walked out of the room. On my way to Shawn's room, I ran into Nash who was currently on crutches. "What the heck happened?" I asked. He ran his fingers through his hair and sighed. "Do you remember when you and Matt were stuck in the Magcon building last night?" I nodded. "There was a huge tree blocking to door. When the guys tried to move it, they set it down on my leg." I was so mad them at them. He must've saw my face turn red so he quickly added, "by accident!" And put his hands up in an 'I surrender' way. I laughed and continued my long journey to Shawn's room. Once again, I crashed into someone. But this time, it was Shawn. I wrapped my arms around him. "How did I get back to the hotel?"I questioned. "I carried you." He said. I lightly punched him in the arm. "Shawn! How could you carry all my weight?" I giggled. I soon as it came out of my mouth I regretted it. His smile dropped. "Do you think you're fat?" He asked. I said nothing. "Elli, do you think you're fat?" "N-no." I stuttered. "Good." He said, then walked toward Nash. I kind of felt bad, because I ruined the moment. But I always feel self conscious when it comes to my weight. I know I'm not fat, but I'm quite bigger than most if the girls at my school. I walked toward Nash and Shawn and Shawn put his arm around me. "Let's go get some breakfast. I've heard they have really good pancakes at the breakfast bar downstairs." I nodded and followed him to the elevator. As soon as we got in and the door shut, he pinned me to the wall and crashed his lips onto mine. He finally let go of me and I laughed. "What was that for?" "Just cause'." I smiled and the elevator door slid open, revealing Jess and Taylor making out.
