Mai's Secret

Chapter 5~confusion~

I'm back and inspired(by raina telgemeier). again i apologize for the last chapter but i fixed it so i am happy. without further ado i give you chapter 5 enjoy! :)

Naru P.O.V.

I heard a loud thump come from the conference room then someone yelling "someone help, she needs help call 911!" I rushed into the room to see Mai laying face down on the coffee table and the girl that fainted next to her yelling while sobbing. I took my cellphone out of my pocket as i rush over to mai and keep trying to get her to wake up.

"stay with me mai don't go away!" I realized that tears were coming from my eyes too. stinging my cheeks with the hot tears and the taste of salt in my mouth i just wanted mai to be alright and for nothing to happen to her or the baby growing inside her. I wait for the ambulance to arrive while holding mai's limp body in a tight embrace whispering to her that she is going to be okay over and over again. Everyone in the office had been watching to whole time but i didn't pay attention to them just mai and only mai.

Tohru P.O.V.

I didn't know what happened. my mind was just in shock and i began screaming for help i barely knew this girl yet i cried like someone dear to me died even though she wasn't dead. i don't know why it just happened and i couldn't stop my tears i wish yuki were with me right now so that he could hug me and tell me she'll be okay.

~20 minutes later~

Lin P.O.V.

Naru's pacing back and forth was making me nervous every time he turned he almost ran into a hospital staff member or a cart of medical supplies in the small hallway. "Naru can you please sit down your making everyone nervous" the only reply i got back from him was a deadly soul stealing scowl that made me flinch, then he continued to pace back and forth again and again which began to make me dizzy.

Naru P.O.V.

I was so worried about mai wondering if she was going to be okay. I was also thing about my stupidity and ho i left her alone with that girl we didn't even know. how could i be so stupid.

Tohru P.O.V.

I was so confused that the people who had came to see what happened to mai had taken me with them to the hospital. I was wondering if they thought that had done something to her. "Excuse me can i tell you what happened to her?"i had finally gotten out of my mouth. I was feeling so guilty about it. At first i just got a scowl from the boy they called Naru and realized that i wasn't going to get a reply from him the rest of the people that were there wanted to know. "Well i woke up in your office and saw that she was looking at me and realized that i didn't know where i was so i asked her were i was and who she was and she answered me but after that i noticed that she looked kinda pale and dizzy and that's when she collapsed in front of me. i tried to stop her head for hitting the table but my reflexes weren't fast enough and she fell" i finished telling them with tears in my eyes.

Normal P.O.V.

There was a long silence in the ER room except for the the busy workers and people paging doctors over the loud speaker. the silence was suffocating and everyone of the SPR members was still even Naru.they all seemed to be frozen in time until the doctor came out to speak with Naru.

Lin P.O.V.

I watched naru go off to the side with the doctor to talk about Mai's condition and i heard the doctor say:

" I have some good news and some bad news which do you want to hear first?" 

I am sorry about any errors in this chapter my computer is acting stupid. I also want to say sorry if you think this chapter was kinda dark and depressing and i promise next chapter will be lighthearted for the most part and kinda funny.
