Confusion

Hey guys! I'm back and with a new chapter. I noticed that most of you have Kik and want to talk to me over there. We share thoughts and ideas mostly. Come and talk to me if you feel like it, my Kik is RvenJoker. <Without the dot at the end, of course<.

I'll let you read! Hope you enjoy!

"How did you wake up?" asked Emma, her question directed towards the old man. Regina looked at him, as if expecting him to say another lie. That has always been the thing with Rumpelstiltskin, you were never certain of whether or not he was telling the truth, unfortunately, most of the times he was lying. That was a lesson Regina learned the hard way.

Mr. Gold felt three pairs of eyes on him and sighed, "I'm afraid to say that I don't know".

"What do you mean you don't know?" came his daught- Regina's question. He knew that Regina did not believe him nor trust him and he certainly didn't blame her. After all he had done to her, he wouldn't trust in himself either.

"Let me rephrase that, dearie, I opened my eyes and when I realized I was awake, Belle was there and I remember everything that happened. I don't have an answer to what you're seeking" was his sole explanation.

Regina's eyes were doubtful and full of distrust of the man who not more than five minutes ago told her they were blood related. She was uncertain, but she would let Emma handle this. If she were to say the truth, every time she went on all Dark One and returned to being her normal self, she was left very tired, 'Must be from doing all this metal fight for control' thought the brow eyed brunette.

Emma only raised an eyebrow at Rumpelstiltskin's answer, "Was that sarcasm? Wow, you came back from being the Dark One and now you're being more sarcastic than usual and whatever else? I wasn't expecting that?"

Regina shuddered at the mention of it

"And what were you expecting?" asked the man.

"I don't know, a fearful old man?" Emma shrugged.

Belle smiled at the blonde's comment. She looked at Regina and then at the man she loved and realized that the two of them were quite similar. They talked alike 'Perhaps that is because of being powerful in the Enchanted Forest'. Her eyes widened slightly when she noticed that the two of them acted very much the same, extremely sarcastic, always having the last word... Maybe Rumple was really Regina's father after all.

Gold snickered at Emma's answer in a way very much like he had before, while still being the Dark One.

"Well, it looks like you don't know anything so we're living, but we may come back later" said Emma.

The crippled man, from the corner of his eye threw a glance at the brunette that was awkwardly sitting on the floor, he did not want to repeat what had happened that day. He was thankful that his daugh- Regina, had taken control of her much darker side before something actually happened. He had thought that Regina had great potential when she was a teenager, as a grown up she was really powerful, one of the most powerful people he had ever encountered, but now? Now she was something that he couldn't quite put his finger on. Her strength and power at the moment were something he would have never wished to know. He could barely phantom the kind of power the younger woman had, and he didn't like it. A burden like that should not have been placed on anyone.

Not even Regina, never Regina.

Whether he liked to admit it or not, when Regina became his student, she had wormed her way up his blackened heart. He had watched over her like no one before, not even Baelfire. He might have not acted on it, but for him, she had always been special. He could never quite pinpoint their relationship, sometimes they disliked or even hated each other. What a strange relationship those two had.

Regina quickly stood up and smoothed the nonexistent wrinkles on her clothes, she looked at the Savior and together they walked through the door, which chimed marking their exit of the shop.

Belle looked at Gold, "You are really her father, aren't you?" she asked with a knowing smile.

Rumpel sighed, 'If someone had told me that losing my magic would be like this, I would have never accepted' and then snorted, it's not like he had had a choice back then.
