Chapter Two of ∂αngєяσυѕℓу ѕαfє

K A T Y

I shifted around and opened my eyes slowly as I woke up. My legs were sprawled out along the side of the bed and the thin sheet of a blanket was half way down my body.

I slowly sat up on the bed with my elbows and leaned against the headboard. I blinked and brushed the eye dust that was stuck in between my eyelids and sighed. My eyes trailed down at my abdomen and I realised that I was no longer in my dress, instead was in some grey baggy T-shirt and sweatpants.

How typical.

The sleeves reached my elbow and had a large gap between my arm and the end of the sleeve. It was the most comfortable thing to be honest. I love clothes that a too big for me, it's like you're wearing a portable hug.

My fingertips fiddled with the soft fabric and a sudden groan came out of my mouth as all the images and scenes from last night flooded into my mind like a fast-current river. My head was throbbing badly and I had to squint my eyes to help the pain decrease a little. My eyes travelled around the small compartment I was in and I grasped and understanding that this is NOT my room. Where am I?

I slipped out of the hard bed took a thorough look at this room. It was cramped however not to small it sleep in. It was dim so I could not make out some stuff but I could make out that there was a mini wooden bed- side table with a dusty lamp on top of it - I don't think that even works. I was on an inadequate sized bed and there was a chest of drawers on the other side of the room.

There were no windows -which I found quite unusual not be in a room- and I couldn't see if there was a door or not.

Gosh, I need some socks I thought as my feet came in contact with the freezing floor. I didn't know where I was heading to because there was no light in the room, I accidentally bumped into a wall and my head started to thump againt my skull.

I rubbed it for a few seconds until the aching feeling was gone. I went feeling around the wall it to see if there was a door but I did not feel anything but grimy wall. I tried another wall but still no luck. I felt another wall and searched everywhere to find a door knob or a handle.

"Yes!" I jumped in happiness and a ghostly grin painted on my face as I placed my hand around the handle and pulled on it and to my surprise, the door was open.

I creaked the door fully open and stepped outside the room into a long gloomy corridor. I looked down both side and decided to go down the right side. Slowly, I made my way down it. Looking along the walls and ceilings.

There were picture's hanging on the wall. They were colourless, mostly brown and white. Some were of a group of people, some were pictures of a mother and a father and a child, holding a candy stick.

I admired the paintings on the wall until I heard another's footsteps as well as mine. I started to panic and I picked up my pace as I mostly ran down the corridor.

The footsteps got faster as well as mine and I knew for sure someone was behind me. Chasing me.

I kept running until I banged into something or shall I say someone. I fell back on to the floor on my back and I groaned in pain. My back ached from last night and now I had hit it again. I am sure to have a huge bruise upon it by now.

What is it with me crashing into people I don't like.

I looked up to see a guy but this time he was a different one than yesterday night.

The chocolate brown hair of his swiped to the side of his forehead as a pair of deep green eyes playfully glared at me. He was wearing black skinny jeans and a grey v neck T-shirt like mine. He smirked at me while I was staring at his face for maybe a couple of minutes.
