Chapter Six of ∂αngєяσυѕℓу ѕαfє
K A T Y
The pitter-patter of the rain halted about an hour ago however the small water droplets decorated the window so beautifully. The faint glow of the light bulb illuminated the droplets as they trickled down one by one.
My elbow leaning upon the sill and my cheek shoved against the fist of my hand, I watched silently as the droplets race each other to the bottom of the window.
This gloomy day suggested my mood. The amount of boredom I feel right now is unbearable. It has been a couple days now since Liam saw me outside and since then I haven't seen him.
Actually to think about it, I have not seen any one of them. I'm allowed to go to the kitchen and living room but that is it. My fear of them being vampires has not subsided but most of it transformed into anger and then into anguish.
Having nothing to do makes you think about a lot of different things all at once. The most deepest of thoughts suddenly pop up and they do not go away until they have done their job - make you feel dejection.
Sighing, I stood up and stretched my arms and legs. Satisfied, I made my way across the room and downstairs to the kitchen. Might as well eat when you have nothing to do. The cool wooden flooring felt blissful against my warm uncovered skin of my feet.
I entered the kitchen and was surprised to see all of the boys sat down around the table. The conversation died down as I made my appearance and all heads turned towards me. Some of them wore smiles but a couple of them had neutral expressions.
"Oh, don't mind me. By all means keeping on talking. I was just here for some food because that is what I do when I am bored." I muttered and rolled my eyes, making my way towards the freezer. Oh how amazing would a bowl of vanilla ice cream be right now.
I was going to pull the freezer door open but it was abruptly slammed shut and in front of me stood Louis. I let out a gasp as due to the sudden appearance.
"Do not talk to us like that Katy. We may be lenient towards you but that does not give you the permission to behave with such an awful attitude." Well someone woke up on the wrong side of the mattress today.
"I have not seen any of you for days! I have been so god damn bored in this place! There is nothing to do and you expect me to behaving nicely with you around?" I scoffed and tried to pushed past him. The least he could do is allow me to have a some ice cream.
Well that word explained it. I tried. Of course he did not move a single muscle. Letting out a sigh I turned around and sat at an empty chair around the table - next to the blonde one.
"I still don't know your name yet?" I asked politely. Louis took his seat again and the rest of them started talking amongst themselves.
"Oh, sorry about that. I'm Niall." He smiled and I returned the gesture. Why couldn't Louis be more like Niall and show some respect?
"Ireland?" I inquired. His accent was something I am used to. A few of my colleagues from work were from Ireland.
"Aye. The one and only." He replied with a toothy smile.
Harry decided to join in the conversation. "Niall, stop saying that." He shook his head.
"What? Let's be honest, Ireland is the best country in the world, hands down, Harry." Niall replied.
"No. Absolutely not." Harry sighed but the corners of his mouth lifted so you know he was just joking.
"Okay guys, listen up." Louis grabbed everyone's attention with a click of his fingers.
