"Where the hell have you been?" Zina snapped when she saw Scarlett walk into the bar

"I told you I've been with ash" Scarlett replied emotionlessly as she sat down at the table mentally thanking herself for convincing Ashley to stay in the car. "What?" She looked at the kind off annoyed expressions on their faces.

"This des not sound like a fling which you gave your word to never commit to more than a booty call at most" April reminded her

"yeah well you can tell him that and its my life" Scarlett groaned "it's not like I've dramatically changed over night"

"but your suppose to be giving the cause 110%, relationships can wait this can't" April sounded as if she was scolding scarlett - who just rolled her eyes

"we thought you wanted to make a difference" kensie hit home with that

"I do -" Scarlett didnt get to finish as zina cut in

"Great then you'll love the plan we have in place"

"we're going after them again straight away?" Scarlett asked knowing it would be a bad idea "they are being serious now. The police got heavily involved, more than last time and it was much more violent. How many people did we loose?"

"only 30 something people got injured" April shrugged as if it was nothing "I'm not sure about how many got arrested and three idiots died"

the others seemed to not of minded but Scarlett looked as if she was trying to strangle April with telepathy from the cold glare she gave her "what?"

"it's no big deal, they died for a worthy cause" kensie shrugged playing with her purple curls

"But its human life" Scarlett snapped "it's not nothing"

"exactly, so what's the difference between human alive and animals lives?" April asked rhetorically (well not giving Scarlett time to answer) "so we aren't gonna do rally's anymore. We have to take it a step further."

"We already graffitied the buildings, threw fake blood at some of the company big shots and lead full on riots doesn't that show how serious it is?" Scarlett asked

"the plan is that we have to free the animals ourselves if the law won't so we have to break in and free the animals" April grinned in satisfaction

"stop. Break in?" Scarlett looked at warily as if she had grown another head "do you not hear yourselves? It's private land meaning they don't have to prosecute trespassers they can just bluntly shoot them or we could land in jail."

"but it'll be worth it. The offices are gonna be closed on Sunday so I say we break in then" April informed them, her gaze turning to a unimpressed Scarlett "come on Scarlett you have to do it, we need you to, your our leader and we need you in our time of need. No one else can rally people or get others to listen like you can. We wouldn't of gotten this far with out you. Think how you could become the next Martin Luther king or Abbie Hoffman or John Lennon"

Scarlett knew she wouldn't win "I'll think about it" Scarlett muttered to keep them happy - not pointing out that every single person april had said was dead: assassinated, suicide and shot. she was fine with protesting but lately everything was getting too extreme and she felt like she had to come along to stop ever friends from getting themselves shot.

"great, we'll see you then" kelsie grinned as if they were dismissing Scarlett like a solider that had just gotten their marching orders

scarlett groaned getting out of her seat, getting out to walk away when something came to mind so she turned back to them "are we friends?"
