“How’s the shiner?” Jinxx asked pouring himself a cup of coffee and standing next to Ashley in the small kitchen
Ashley looked over at him “It’s fine and you can hardly see it with war paint on” Ashley shrugged taking a sip of his own coffee and leaning against the kitchen top “It’s more Scarlett I’m worried about” he sighed looking over at her at the lounge; her knees tucked up with a mug in her hand and looking out the bus window. “She’s been kind of distant since the surprise drop in”
Jinxx nodded understandingly “I wouldn’t blame her” dude was a psychopathic control freak
Ashley sighed in frustration “So what should I do Jinxx cause while she’s like this she-”
“Isn’t giving you what you want” Jinxx chuckled but was met by a cold glare
“Its not a joke. You remembered what happened when we went sexless for two weeks” Ashley was being deadly serious about it for good reason.
“Dude you can’t get her pregnant while she’s pregnant” Jinxx sighed “although you somehow broke the bed and most objects in the bus…”
Ashley shrugged “When I’m in a rush I don’t care” then turned serious again “But I don’t like seeing her like this”
“Then do something for her then Mr Romantic” Jinxx suggested although he had a feeling Ashley already kind of knew he was gonna have to do something like that “Do something meaningful”
Ashley thought about it for a second.

Ashley watched as Scarlett got kissed to death by Tokyo and Killer on the sofa – she’d only moved in about a month ago but they loved her as much a she did, acting as if she had been their sort of adopted mother for years not weeks.
“Scarlett” She looked over at him when she heard her name “what animals do you like? Its just I'm thinking of getting another dog but if you want a different animal like a cat or something?"
“You may not want another dog, these two are enough trouble” she laughed trying to sit up
“Seriously though” Ashley sat down next to her and swinging her legs over his lap and supporting her back so she was on his lap along with the two furry troublemakers.
"Erm..” she thought for a second “What do you think of snakes?" she asked cautiously
"They're okay, why?" Ashley shrugged – he didn’t hate them and he’d seen how Jinxx had taken care of his and Sammi’s.
"Because I love snakes” Scarlett admitted “Always have, they’re just so powerful yet pretty but I could just never have one”
“Like you?” Ashley grinned
She blushed for a second, hiding in her hair and playing with it a bit in her free hand “but if you don't like snakes then that's fine" trying to hide disappointment in her voice
"You know what? I'll think about it, Angel" Ashley smiled before pulling her into a heated kiss, not realising he was officially think long term with her which he had never done with any other girl…well ever.

“Do you know where I can get a California king snake?” Ashley asked Jinxx (man who already owned quite a few snakes)
Jinxx thought for a second “I know a dude but your gonna have to go sexless one more night”
Ashley whined before huffing “Alright for her” he looked over at her again before he realised something “It’s nearly our anniversary as well”
