Chapter Thirteen.

I kept following Jacob through the field,wondering to myself what the hell he was looking for. It seemed like he was chasing after something as he started to pick up pace, but all I could focus on was his bare chest. At one point I felt like killing myself as he turned his head and caught me staring at his shiny chest, it looked so shiny because of all the sweat that was prickling down his chest.

"Sorry" i said quickly as i looked away then stopped walking as he stopped walking aswell. I glanced at him from the side of my eye as he gestured for me to stay really quiet by placing his finger on his lips. I looked at his finger as it moved slightly and pointed to towards a tree.

I looked at the direction he was pointing to and i saw...nothing. There was just a huge big old tree standing there infront of us. I rolled my eyes at him as he smacked his forehead, clearly, there was something there. Maybe he turned crazy and he was seeing a ghost? Possibly true.

"I mean seriously Jaco--" i got cut off by him smacking his forehead again and once again, placing his finger on his lips, whilst the other finger was pointing to another tree. I saw his finger move slowly until it pointed..to my bare foot. I laughed silently as i looked down then froze as i saw..a cute little wild rabbit.

"Aww its adorable" i said as i kneeled down, i heard him smirk at one point but as soon as i looked up at Jacob, he wiped the smirk off his cute..face. I mean ugly face! Stop it Abbey! Focus on the rabbit!

I nodded to myself as i looked down at the rabbit and stroked its fur gently and slowly. For some reason, my mind started to relax again and there was no worries about anything at all..it was almost as if someone just waved their wand and wiped away my worries.

I tried picking up the rabbit but i couldnt as it kept dodging away. Huh, this rabbit was like the rabbit in Alice In Wonderland.

"Looks like the rabbit from Alice In Wonderland" spoke a soft voice near my ear. I stumbled back suddenly and saw that it was Jacob, i sighed a relief as i watched the rabbit hop off happily. How did he read my mind?

I looked at him as he looked back at me and gave me a "what you looking at?" face. I knew what i was looking at, it was a freaking cute boy sitting right NEXT to me. Any girl would die to be in my shoes at this exact moment.

After a while of sitting there in silence, i finally got up as Jacob followed aswell, he laughed lightly as he looked at my wrist, which the rose was still tied to. I suddenly screamed as i felt something crawl up my wrist...it was a spider!

"Get it off! Get it off!" i shouted as i jumped around like a frog, waving my wrist about trying to get the ugly spider off of it, but of course this spider was probably evil as it had a good grip on me.

I looked at Jacob as i kept screaming, and all he done was laughed. He laughed and laughed until he couldnt laugh anymore.

"Get it off im serious!" i shouted as i waved my hand about furiously, the spider seemed to dissapaear as i sighed a relief, shivering to the thought of it crawling on...it was crawling on Jacobs arm.

I pointed at it, and kept staring incase the sneeky spider decided to jump back onto me. Jacob looked at it and smiled, acting as if this "ugly spider" was infact a "cute little puppy".

"Hey there little guy" he said as he stroked the hairy spider, i shivered and stepped back again as he looked up at me and rolled his eyes.

"You scared the poor thing, Abz" he said in a calm voice, then went back to stroking the spider.

"Poor thing?!" i screamed out as i kept pointing at it, giving the spider my evil finger. "What did you call me?!" i shouted as he put the spider on the grass and watched it crawl away back into what looked like the woods.

"I called you Abz, its my new nickname for you" he said as he winked at me and walked off, through the woods, which left me standing there alone. I stomped my barefoot on the damp grass under me.

"Come back here!" i called to him as i heard him whistling to himself, then he spoke.

"Nu uh" he said then disspeared into the dark woods. I looked around furiously then scowled as i ran into the woods, trying to find him. What really freaked me out was because it was so dark, and i had watched so much horror films i kept jumping when i heard a cricket or some kinda bird chirping loudly in the high trees above.
