Chapter 9: The Heartbreak

Everyone was happy that Sally was OK. They thanked me for bringing her back. I even saw Ben and Sally kissing on tge the bench close to the Mansion, I guess Sally's older than I thought? I knocked on the glass window, and startled them out of their makeout session. I walked out and pulled Sally aside. I asked her

"Sally? How old are you?"

She said, her voice suddenly a little deeper, and having a hint of maturity.

"As old as I want myself to be, and for the past few days I've felt like a child whenever I was around Ben. But now that him and I are a thing, I feel mature now..."

With that sentence Sally grew a little taller, her chest got bigger, and her hair got longer. But what concerned me the most was that her gown wasn't growing or anything, so she had to pull it down to keep it down from popping up over her undergarments.  I laughed and lead her to her room for her to change.

I asked she while she changed

"So how old are you now?"

She said with a little excitement in her voice

"Sixteen! I've never been older than 9 before, its feels like I'm actually human again."

She emerged in a pink dress, but it looked skintight, giving her chest the allusion that they were bigger than they actually were. I let it slide as Toby came into the room. Sally slipped past him and went back to Ben. Toby sat on the edge of the bed silently looking at me. He broke the awkward silence by saying

"Why'd you do it?"

I looked at him like a deer in headlights

"What are you talking about?"

He huffed and crossed his arms over his chest in frustration,  or was it complete distraught? I would never know,  he said as he teared up.

"How could you marry my arch nemesis?!"

I stood before him and said a little pissed off

"WHO DO YOU THINK YOU ARE?! ASKING ME IF MARRYING HIM WAS ENTIRELY HIS IDEA! YOU KNOW WHAT TOBY? THIS IS MY DESCISION AND I'M GOING TO STICK TO IT AS LONG AS-"

I heard giggling in Masky's room. I approached it and burst in, to see Masky and Zero... He was making love to her! He noticed me, and said

"A-Astrid.. It's not what you think! I just...She's..."

I screamed

"WE WEREN'T EVEN TOGETHER FOR A DAY! A FUCKING DAY MASKY! AND YOU DECIDE TO CHEAT ON ME! YOU KNOW WHAT!-"

I took the ring off that he proposed to me with and threw it at him.

"YOU KEEP IT! AND GIVE IT TO THAT ONE NIGHT STAND YOU HAVE LYING NEXT TO YOU! I CAN'T BELIEVE I EVER THOUGHT WE COULD BE HAPPY TOGETHER!"

I went to my room and slammed the door, but of course Masky continued making love with Zero. I just hope she likes her heart broken within this night by that bastard. I finally had had enough. I was going to do something tonight; and I knew who was going with me.
