There's No Running From You

The End.

Taylor's POV

Dustin and Adam's father turned out to be fine. It was a very minor heart problem that caused him to faint. The hospital gave him some medication and he should be totally dandy in a weeks time. Or at least that is what my mother informed me when we talked late last night. I was relieved to know this because the Kales are very close with us. I was very grateful that he was fine. 

I packed up my things and changed into my clothes for the day. I was wearing shorts and a a grey tank top with a plaid shirt over that and some ankle boots. I was going to drive to the airport with Adam and Dustin but apparently I was leaving too early from them. Which was fine because my mom really wanted to talk while we were heading to the airport. So I drove our way there and my mom told me how much she would miss me and how she loved Dustin and I together. Somehow in that conversation she started telling me how Dustin and I are getting married and that our wedding colors have to be dark red and silver. Where this came from, I have no idea. When we got the airport, I hugged my mom goodbye as she was in tears because she was "going to miss her little baby." I shook my head and laughed lightly at her antics as I entered the clean airport. I checked in and then started to go through security. By the time I had gotten through it and was now going to my gate, I had about 40 minutes until my flight was going to start calling rows. I decided to go and grab some lunch. I had a very light breakfast this morning so I walking into a sub place and ordered a hot roast beef sandwich with melted cheese on top. I grabbed a water and then sat down at a table right across from my gate so I can see if they start boarding. I finished up my sandwich with a half hour to go, and checked Facebook and Twitter. When I found nothing to do, I went on Tumblr and before I knew it, it was time to start boarding. I was toward the back of the plane with the guys so we were getting on first. Of course I have no clue where the guys are. That was slightly terrifying considering the plane would be leaving soon and I have yet to hear from then. The plane was pretty much boarded and suddenly three people rushed onto the plane and my heart calmed down when I realized it was Adam, Dustin and Peyton. Wait Peyton? They quickly put their bags in the overhead and Dustin sat down in the middle seat, next to me. Then Adam sat across the isle with Peyton next to him. 

"Hey." Dustin says, pressing his lips to mine real quick, giving me a guilty smile.

"Why are you guys so late and why is Peyton here?" I ask.

"She goes to a smaller school not far from ours in Colorado so she got on our flight home. Adam told me last night he went to school with her before you guys met. She changed schools and they hadn't seen each other for a while. It's pretty crazy how they met each other, right?" He asks and I chuckle and nod.

"That still doesn't explain why you're so late." I say and he shrugs.

"Peyton was trying to book the flight, plus we got stuck in security when Adam was being an idiot and back sassed some chick. She didn't take it too well." Dustin says chuckling lightly, shaking his head as he looked over at his brother. I grinned at him, giving him a quick peck on the cheek before the flight attendant came on and they said they were getting ready for take off. Luckily no one sat next to Dustin and I on the flight so we were able to be couple-like and not have anyone giving us that look like "ew PDA." When we got into the air, I was about to turn on some Macklemore but Dustin stopped me. "I uh, I need to tell you something Taylor." He says and I furrow my eyebrows.

"What is it?" I ask and Dustin looks down, gulping like he needed to gain some confidence. What ever he was going to tell me was obviously something important. "You planned on trapping me on this plane so I had to hear whatever you need to say, didn't you?" I ask and he chuckles at that, cracking a gorgeous smile, filling his dark blue eyes with some light. 

"Listen to me here for a moment Taylor. I need you to hear me out, alright? No interruptions." He says and I simply nod. "Taylor, I have told you how lucky I am to have you right?" He asks and I nod. "You mean so much to me. Sometimes I'm not sure what I would do if I didn't have you there for me. You create this barrier. You barricade every thing that was wrong with my life in the past. You push that away and all I see is the good. When I met you Taylor I was a cocky prick who didn't know what it meant to be with someone. But with you in my life, you make me a better man. If I didn't have you, I wouldn't know what to do with my life. You are truly my everything. You make me laugh, you make me happy and if I were to lose you I don't know what I would do. Do you see what I mean?" He asks and I bite my lip. My face was bright red. I hadn't had someone tell me this, and it was weird to me.

"Listen y-you don't need to tell me all this Dustin..." I say and Dustin's face falls. Suddenly there was a look of determination and Dustin stands from his seat. "Wait what are you doing?" I ask and Dustin stands in the middle of the isle.

"Excuse me folks! Can I please have your attention?" Dustin yells out and people start swiveling their heads to see what the commotion was. My eyes widened and I tugged on Dustin's sleeve.

"Dustin sit down!" I whisper yelled. He shook his head, and tore his sleeve from my grip.

"This girl right here is the most beautiful thing that I have ever laid my eyes on. Not just on the outside, but in the inside too. She causes me to have so much happiness and I don't know what I would do without her in my life. Though she can be shy about showing affection in general, I want her to know that besides my mother, she is the only girl for me. What I'm trying to say, and have been trying to say for days," He pauses looking at me in the eyes.

"PROPOSE!" Some old lady yells out and Dustin looks surprised and I can't help but clap a hand over my mouth while I laugh at the sheer situation. Dustin shakes his head, grinning at me like a fool.

"What I have been trying to say is that I, Dustin Kales is head-over-heels as in  as whipped as I can get, in love with you. I'm in love with you Taylor Heydon, and I can't hold it back anymore. I love you...I love you more than life itself. I just don't know what I would do without you there. So what do you say? Do you love me too?" He asks, his gorgeous eyes locked on me. I could feel tears springing to my eyes. Dustin extends his hand to me and I stand from where I was sitting. I put my mouth to his ear and whisper to him.

"Well since there's no running from you...." and I pull back looking at his face, a grin slipping on to it. " Of course, I love you too!" I exclaim and I wrap my arms around his neck and cry happily. The whole plan begins cheering and clapping and hooting. I grin, biting my lip. Adam looks so happy that he suddenly stands up and starts chanting.

"Kiss! Kiss! Kiss! Kiss!" His chanting is passed on and even the flight attendants are chanting along. We lock eyes and I press my lips to his and give him the sweetest kiss ever. This kiss meant more than anything else. This kiss meant that I love you. I love Dustin Kales. A giant grin spread on my face as people clapped as we sat down. I swear an old lady in the corner was crying the entire time. I give him a few more short kisses and he grins at me.

"I have been trying to tell you for days."

"Well I'm glad. I love you so much." I whisper and he grins at me.

"I love you too baby. I love you too." He whispers and I shut my eyes, leaning my head on his chest. Well this wasn't a fairytale, but princes are overrated. I want my bad-boy. I want him to chase me wherever we go and when I'm caught? Well the chase was fun, but having him with his arms around me is even better. I guess there's no running from him...

But I can certainly try...

So this was the end! I hope you enjoyed it. I was trying to hard with the ending. I was going to write an epilogue but I wrote it, took one look at it and was like "Uh no. Way too cliche." and so here we are! Hopefully you guys liked it! (two updates in one day, holy crap I'm like a superhero or something!)
