"Please!" Megan begged and I frowned.
"No way Megs. I'm not going." I state and she groans loudly.
"But you have to come Taylor! I can't go to this bonfire alone!" She persists and I shake my head.
"No way. Plus you'll just meet some guy there anyway. It's all good." I say waving her off, trying to lean so I can see the TV that she was currently blocking with her body.
"Come or...or I'll make sure that I invite Adam and Dustin over here when I leave." She says and suddenly my eyes snap to hers.
"You wouldn't." I say and she grins.
"Okay so be ready at 6! I'm getting you ready for the bonfire!" She screams, running into her room and slamming the door so I can't reply. That sneaky girl! I sigh as I finish off what I was eating and get in my car. First class of the day! Dang it, I have Home Ec again. Which means I have two hours with Dustin. Damn him!
I parked in the parking lot and walked inside the school. I sat down and tried to focus on the teacher. When I say "try" I mean it was very difficult because Dustin kept whispering to me, trying to get my attention.
"Tay! Psst. Taylor I need to tell you something very, very important!" He says and I can't help but think of that episode of Sponge bob where Patrick was annoying Sponge bob in the middle of boarding school. Could this get any worse?
Thump.
Oh he did not just do what I think he did. I glance at the balled up piece of paper on the ground. I think I'm going to strangle this boy. This evil evil blue eyed boy. I tried to ignore him but once again found myself being pelted with a piece of paper. WHEN DOES THIS CLASS END?
Thump
"ARE YOU FRICKING KIDDING ME?!" I scream, looking behind me at Dustin. His eyes are wide, halfway in the process of crumpling a paper.
"Excuse me! Ms.Heydon!" My teacher screamed and I looked over at her annoyed face. Damn it!
"Err hey." I say and I see a few students chuckling.
"May I ask why you are interrupting my class?" She snapped and I bite my lip from shouting back at her.
"He was throwing paper at me." I say and point at Dustin.
"Are we seriously going to act like first graders Ms.Heydon?" she says annoyance clear in her voice.
"But-"
"You can leave now Ms.Heydon." She says and my mouth falls open. I'm being kicked out?! Are you kidding me? I grab my bag and binders and stomp out of the classroom in annoyance and walk to my car. What an asshole! He just got me in trouble! Are you kidding me?! I slammed my jeep door and drove back to my place. I slammed my front door and flopped on the couch with a loud annoyed groan.
"You're home early." Megan commented, coming into the living room.
"Yeah I was kicked out of class!" I exclaim and Megan pulls me up from the couch, dragging me to her room.
"Tell me all about it while I get you ready for tonight." She says and I nod as we head into her room. She begins rummaging through her clothes for something to wear as I recall everything that happened today. Megan was chuckling once I finished. I waited for the laughter to pass but found that she was on the floor laughing. I let out an annoyed sigh.
"Can you tell me what you think is so funny?" I demand.
"You got kicked out of class because of Dustin, and he couldn't talk to you about it and you're mad!" She says and suddenly I realize what happened. I can't help but let out a chuckle.
