Maya P.O.V

"Beep Beep"

The sound of my alarm clock woke me up.

I quickly slammed it and got up.

I went to the bathroom and brushed my teeth. Then I went searching in my cabinets for a razor.

When I found it I slit it across my wrist.

Again.

Again.

And again.

Then I was washing the blood off the razor while getting bandaids.

Then I looked at the mirror and saw myself.

I am so ugly.

People have reasons not to like me.

And that's another one

I should just die.

What's the point of living if I don't look forward to anything in my life.

Maybe if I wasn't around anymore, they would appreciate it.

Maybe

Then I remembered that today is the day.

Great. Just great

School went by fast.

Notes fell out of my locker again and people were laughing at me.

Yep.

Same old day of school.

Then my last period, I sat down in front of Lucas, like I usually do, and just stared up at the board.

Then I felt a tap on my shoulder.

I turned around, and it was Lucas.

"What do you want?"I ask.

"All I wanted to say was, you're coming to my house today right."

"Guess so," I answer back while turning around.

A look of shock washed over his face when I turned around.

Like he was surprised or something for me turning around.

Yay. I am spending the rest of the day with Lucas Friar.

I was walking to Lucas's.

Yay.

I then reached his apartment and knocked on his door.

I was waiting and waiting until he opened his door.

"Hi," he said smiling.

"Hey,"I say looking down.

"Come on in,"he says while opening the door wider.

I step in not looking at my surroundings.

My head is glued to the floor.

I sat on his couch waiting for him to close the door and get the stuff we need.
