Hi, Everyone. Well this took longer than I expected. I've had this chapter done for ages but I couldn't upload it because I've had no Internet for ages + I'm busy with studying for university exams and blah blah blah...you don't really want to hear about that so let's talk about this chapter. It was a challenge because here I decided that it's time Draco made some sort of move, right? But how and when should this happen? How do I make Draco do a complete 180 in his attitude towards Harry and how can Harry accept it? I've been reading a lot of gay romance between rivals to help me and I hope I've come up with something half way believable. I usually write everything on paper before I type it on my laptop (because really nothing beats good old fashioned pen and paper) but this time I wasn't satisfied and I decided to get out my laptop and go for it from there. I think that this is by far the worst chapter I've written but hopefully it will be better next time. Anyway here it is:

Chapter Six

The following day the news of what had happened to Katie Bell at Hogsmeade was all over the school. That wasn't the only thing the whole school was talking about as Harry found out later that morning.

"Why didn't you just tell us you weren't interested in girls?" Romilda Vane and a group of other girls confronted Harry at the Great Hall during breakfast. Of all the people trying to get Harry's attention, she was the most determined of the lot. She'd been trying to worm her way into Harry's life, memorizing his schedule and taking almost all the same classes as he since the start of term. Harry didn't know how to escape her but he'd certainly tried now here she was with a gang of girls giving him the stink eye. A few people at the Gryffindor table had quieted down to listen but were still pretending to be interested in their food.

"What ---" Harry began.

"Don't play dumb with us, Harry. It's not a secret anymore."

"But ---" Harry tried again.

"Why don't you just admit you're with Colin Creevy!" Romilda said. At that all four girls turned and gave Colin evil looks.

Harry choked on a piece of sausage and Hermione clapped him on the back while Ron roared with laughter.

"WHAT!" Harry exclaimed. No one was pretending not to listen anymore and Colin's ears had turned red.

"Honestly, Romilda, what business is it of yours who Harry does and doesn't date," Hermione asked. "Don't you lot have anything better to do than keep tabs on him?"

"I'm not dating Colin!"

"Hermione what would be the point of the bet if no one was 'keeping tabs'" one of the girls replied.

"Colin and I aren't going out --- Hang on, what bet?"

"Everyone is still on about that?" Hermione asked.

"Hermione what's she on about?"

"Well not anymore now that we all know Potter is fucking gay!" Romilda said turning on her heel and stalking away.

There was a brief silence at the Gryffindor table before cutlery started scraping against plates noisily.

"Well that was interesting," Seamus muttered to Dean.

"What bet, Hermione?" Harry asked quietly. For a moment it looked like she wasn't going to answer then she sighed.

"Let's all take a walk, I'll tell you outside."

Once outside, all three headed for the Lake and sat under one of the trees that grew beside it.

"Look I didn't tell you earlier because I didn't think it was important and frankly I didn't want you to find out. The whole school has been betting on people who was most likely to get into a relationship with you before the end of the term. That's the reason for all the presents, the little notes, the people who follow you around."
